A Jeric Tale

(Chapter 6) The Argument

I finally get there and transform into my wolf form. I leave the wolf plush in a safe spot and walk in the cave...

"Jasmine? You are late...why?" The leader asks strictly. "Sorry it just took a while to get here.." I say bowing down. He shrugs and says, "Whatever. Has anyone learned any information about these mortals?"

The other wolves gossip about how I smell like a mortal... I ignore them and say, "I have learned some information....they have this thing called a wolf tracker..." I hand the leader Eric's watch.

When I was at the restaurant I noticed this on Eric's wrist and took it on the Ferris wheel...My leader sniffs the watch and throws it! "That's our enemies stench!" He says growling..

"Does it show that we are werewolves!?" One wolf asks. "Yes this will show that we are werewolves thanks for sharing this Jasmine." The leader says nodding his head at me I nod back and think to myself....

Is Eric a werewolf? If he is, is he our enemy!? I shake my head and the leader tells us, "I want y'all to stay away from the mortals unless you are in school.." he states directly at me and everyone looks at me too...

I look around and pretend that I don't know they are looking at me...after a few minutes or should I say half an hour the meeting is over! Everyone begins to leave and I follow them till I hear my leader, "Jasmine! If you see the mortal who had this watch eliminate them..." I gasp but nod....

I walk out of the cave and turn back into my human form and get my wolf plush and go home...

I change into my jammies, brush my teeth and go to sleep hugging the wolf plush... I wake up and get ready for school...I didn't want to eliminate Eric but no one had to know... I walk to school and go to first period...

I see Denisse and she slaps me! "Ow!! What's the big idea!" I say rubbing my cheek! "You had us worried sick!! Where were you!!" She says raising her voice at me! "I was on a date with Eric!" I say growling a little.

"Did he hurt you!???!" She says looking around! "I'll kill him!" She says with anger in her eyes! "Dude calm down I'm fine!! We like each other and you have to accept that!" I say shaking her.

I immediately regret my decision when she started squealing and making dirty jokes about me and Eric...."Jasmine plus Eric equals Jeric!!!" She says squeaking!!

I cover her mouth when they start looking at us... I just want this period to be over!! The teacher comes in and they start their lecture and I usually fall asleep or listen to music but this time I didn't..

After an hour it's finally time for 2nd period. "Jeric 4 life!!" Denisse says before she goes to 2nd period! I turn red and go to 2nd period...

Me and Edwin sit next to each other and talk about what happened between me and Eric he started the Jeric thing as well....why me!!? "Jeric! Everybody sing along! Jasmine and Eric sitting in the tree K.I.S.S.I.N.G first comes love then comes-" I close Edwin's mouth and I forgot that Eric is in my 2nd period!!

"I'll be right back you teens I have to use the restroom!" The teacher says as she books it to the restroom! After she leaves the class gets chaotic and I see Eric walking up to me!!

Edwin slowly gets up and walks away to give me and Eric privacy... I try  calling him to get back here but he leaves!! "Hey.." Eric says sitting down next to me. "Hey.." I say back..

"Look about yesterday I'm sorry if you left because of me..." he says sighing...I feel kind of bad and say, "No! It's not your fault I just needed to leave...I had curfew?..."

He looks up at me with a serious face and asks, "Have you seen my watch..."
I gasp and say no but he isn't buying it....

"You are hiding something from me aren't you...?" Eric says with a really serious face.. I nod no but he says, "Sure."

I look away from him because it was way too awkward.... I start using my phone and wait for Eric to leave but he doesn't!! I'm doomed!

Eric is on to me! I'll just keep denying it he is my packs enemy after all...I won't eliminate him but I won't tell him either...

I put my earbuds and listen to music and look over at Eric who finally leaves! Hallelujah!! Edwin comes back with a huge grin on his face! "Shut up." I say smacking him on the grin!

He laughs and asks me what he wanted. I told him that I'll tell him later at the park..I couldn't do this anymore I needed to tell my friends! After 2nd period I walk to 3rd period but Eric pulls my arm!

"Hey! Eric I need to get to class could you let go of my arm!" I say trying to get away! He pulls me towards the forest and I see Jessica walking to 3rd period! "Jessica!!" I scream! Eric hears that I am calling for help and starts running towards the forest!

We are at the forest and I ask, "What the fuck!? What do you want?"
He sighs and tells me that he is a werewolf!! I gasp and take a few steps back.. "I could transform you into a werewolf and you could be part of my pack and we could fight our enemies together!" He says.

I nod no. He looks confused and asks me what I didn't want him to ask me, "Are you a werewolf..?"
I stay silent for a moment but then realize I had to tell the truth... "Yes I am..."

He gasps and asks what pack I am in.... "The Royal Wolf pack..." I say looking away from him.. He shakes his head and steps back..

"You are on their pack??" He asks raising his voice! "Yes got a problem with it?" I say raising my voice too. "Ugh...so what are you going to do eliminate me?" He says crossing his arms.

I started thinking he was acting pathetic! "Could you stop? You are acting like a kid!" I say crossing my arms. "Look can't we work this out or talk to our leaders to stop this war or fight?" I say lowering my voice..

"Forget it...it isn't going to work...I can't believe you never told me.." he says slowly walking away. "Oh yeah well you never told me you had a werewolf tracking watch!!" I say yelling at him!

He turns around and says, "What did you do with my watch!?" I tell him that I gave it to my leader. "You had no right to take my watch! I thought you were better than this!" He says screaming at me!

He turns into his wolf form and comes towards me I gasp and turn into my wolf form! He didn't attack me he just stood there! I hear my pack coming and they attack Eric!! "Guys!!" I scream trying to get them away from Eric!

His pack comes as well and attacks my pack and injures them!! I gasp and didn't know what to do when Eric's pack started coming towards me! "Jasmine run!" Eric says weakly! I run as fast as I could and hear them running after me!!

I turn into my human form and climb a tree and wait for them to leave!! I hear a howl and they run towards the howl... I look in the distance as they take Eric to their cave...

This is my fault! I get off the tree and run to the wolves that are injured! "Guys! Hold up!" I say and transform into my wolf form and howl! My pack leader and more wolves come and they take them to the cave to heal them...

"Jasmine what happened!!" My leader says. "It was my fault! I was with a human and it turns out he is in our enemies pack...he tried attacking me and they came and his pack came and they attacked each other..." I say quietly..

He shakes his head at me and goes back to healing them...I run to the park and call my friends immediately! "Guys I have something to tell you..." I say quietly... "What is it..?" They all say..

"I am a werewolf.."
