(Chapter 5) The Date

We go to Edwin's house and try distracting ourselves...Edwin and Jessica watch Miranda sings while Denisse and Xavier are on their phones. I get up and go onto the porch...

Emily is so cruel....I sigh and see Eric coming!! I hide behind the porch but he sees me! "Hey Jasmine uh...what are you doing....?" Eric says ducking down to look at me. Shit!! I got caught I thought I was slick!

"Uhh nothing!! I dropped something..." I say blushing while putting my hands behind my back. "Look, I'm sorry for what happened at the park or what happened with Emily....the truth is I don't like her I like you..." he says holding my hands.

He leans in to try and kiss me but I think to myself what if this is one of Emily's tricks... I stop him and say, "How do I know this isn't a trap?" He laughs and says, "I'm not really good at pranking people...but I assure you this isn't a trap...uhh could I take you out for dinner...?"

I blushed and I could tell my face was burning up!! I nod and he tells me to tell my friends. I walk inside and say, "Guys I'm going out to dinner with Eric byeeee!!!" I run out of the house before they replied!

"WHAT!!!?" I hear them say in the distance me and Eric go walking to the restaurant and when we walked in he pulled my chair open for me. "Thanks what a gentleman." I say giggling. He smiles and takes a seat.

"So if you like me why did you kiss Emily...?" I say with my head down.. "Oh...uhh it just sort of happened I don't know what got into me...I'm really sorry and even more sorry for them almost kidnapping you and your friends at the park..." Eric says putting his head down...

I smile and hold his hand. "I forgive you.." he smiles back at me and after we eat we go to the fair. "Want me to win you something?" Eric asks pulling his wallet out. "Nah I'm good thanks anyway.." I say shyly.

He ignores me and wastes his money and wins me a wolf plush!! "Omg!! It's so cute and cuddly! Thanks!" I say hugging the wolf and smiling at Eric.

I gasp and realize I can't be with Eric...how could a human like him like a wolf like me...? Should I tell him.... "Jasmine you okay?" Eric asks worriedly. "Ye-yeah I'm fine.." I say with a fake smile on my face.

He sighs and we get in line for the Mountain Crusher the line was 7 minutes and while we wait I think if I should tell him or not....

After waiting we get on the ride and on the way up to the hill he asks me, "Are you ready for the drop!?" I shake and say, "No! I'm scared!" He chuckles and puts his arm around me to protect me.

We get really close to the drop and I realize the drop is high but I don't think it's hard...I raise my hands and scream as we go down and do a loop!

Eric get really dizzy and I laugh as we get off the ride and I pull his arm to get on the Ferris wheel and when we get on I lean my head on his shoulder. "It's been a really great day.." I say quietly to him. "Looking at you always makes my day great." Eric says grabbing me by the cheeks and kisses me.

I kiss him back and feel someone watching us....

(Emily's POV)
Jasmine thinks she can take Eric away from me....well she is wrong little does she know we are watching her right now....

I will make her pay for taking away my Eric! He's mine!! I'll make her and her little friends suffer with the help of Eric or not....

If Eric gets in the way....guess I'll have to end him too...

(Jasmines POV)
After we kiss we just smile at each other and I look around to see if anyone is watching us...I didn't see anyone....

I think it's nothing and I gasp!! "What's wrong??!" Eric asks me shocked. "Nothing! Just saw a bird and it scared me..?" I say lying to him.. I forgot I had a wolf meeting today!! My pack is going to be mad at me!!!

"Uhh when is the Ferris wheel over!?" I say looking down. "We are down...what's wrong??" He asks... "It's nothing!" I say getting out of the cart. "Look, I have to go I'll see you tomorrow at school!" I say kissing him and running to the meeting as fast as I can!!

I look behind me and see that Eric is pretty shut down...I sigh and keep running! I don't think I'll make it the meeting is about to start!!
