Mommy?

Chapter Eight

The doctor says, "If you don't want to keep it... we can do an abortion." Abbey looks up and calms herself down and says, "No... no need to kill the innocent. It never did anything. I'll keep it." The doctor then asks, "Is your parents here? We will need to have a word with them." Abbey lies quickly, "Umm... no actually I live alone." The doctor nods and hands her a piece of paper for her to sign. Abbey signs her name and asked for an ultrasound. The lady said, yes sure! She leads her to a room and puts cold jelly on her stomach and points to the screen and tells her to look. Abbey looks and sees the baby. The lady moves the thingy that let's you see inside(yeah... I don't know what they are called...)  As soon as the lady moves it, Abbey sees something behind the baby. She asks the lady what it is. The lady smiles and says, "Umm... I think it is another... baby!" Abbey freaked out and thought, 'I am going to die! My mom is going to kill me. Cody is going to leave me!' Abbey starts to cry. The doctor stops and cleans the gell off and tells Abbey, "Okay. I guess we are done here." Abbey nods and goes to the bathroom and looks at herself and makes a promise to herself her mom and Cody. "I WILL NOT HAVE AN ABORTION! I WILL TELL MY MOM SOON, AND I WILL STILL HAVE THIS BABY EVEN IF CODY LEAVES ME!" She walks out of the bathroom and goes home.

"How'd it go sweetie?" Her mom asks as soon as she enters the door.
"It went good." She looked at her mom's sad looking face and she asked, "Are you sure sweetie. You don't look to happy." Abbey turned around and said, "Mom. I am fine. I'm just a little scared right now at the moment. I will have to tell you something later. The I will have to tell dad too. It's just very personal right now. Soon when I grow the encourage to tell you I will." Abbey walks off and leaves her mom standing there lost and confused.

Abbey layed on her bed. Not knowing what to do. Then she thought back about the party.

'Grape Flavored Water. Hmm... I remember what is actually tasted like. It was sweet, but the one my friends gave me weren't. They put be- THEY PUT FUC*ING BEER IN IT! THEY DID THIS TO ME!' Abbey shoots up from the bed and calls Cody.

"Hey babe!"
"I have a question."
"Ummm sure what is it?"
"Did your friends give you a drink that tasted horrible?"
"Actually yeah they did, I chugged it down. That was all that I remembered."
"Cody... you got drunk at that party. I did too. Our own friends made us get drunk secretly without telling us!"
"WHAT THE FU*K?!"

Abbey quickly ended the call. She didn't want to anger her boyfriend any more than what he was.

Abbey woke up to a phone call from Cody. She answered it.

"Hey! Do you remember anything that happened after you got drunk last night?!"
"No... Cody... I don't."
"Da*m it! Ughhhh why the he*l would they do that! Last time they did that. They told me what I did... now they won't tell me! Maybe you can convince them to tell you. So you can tell me."
"I'll give it a shot. I'll text you if I know anything okay?"
"Okay I love you!"
"Love you too Cody."
