Zoe's P.O.V.

I bite my lip and head into Lavon's confused as hell. I head out though as soon as I see a shirtless Wade eating some cereal.

"Where you going doc?" he asks and I squeeze my eyes shut embarrassed.

"I-I forgot to change. " I say and walk out and back over to my house before he can speak again. I walk in and shut the door leaning against it. I close my eyes and exhale when I hear a knock on my door. I don't dare peak through the windows cuz lets face it that's just weird. I open the door and my eyes bulge when I see who it is.

"Um hey there Zoe I just wanted to say thank you for saving me and uh sorry about Lemon. " George says blushing slightly scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"Uh don't worry about it..... and I'm sorry about old man Jackson. "

"It's fine..... you're new here. " He says

"I uh wanted to invite you to dinner..... Lemon wants to apologize for being snappy. "

"Oh thanks George what time?" I ask

"Uh....... 7:30 work for you?" I bite my lip and shrug

"Sure of course..... where will this lovely evening be taking place? "

"I guess Lemons. " I nod

"I will be there. "

"Great thanks for understanding.... see you dr hart. " I nod and he waves and is about to leave when.....

"Oh and..... bring company just in case it might get awkward and you have someone to back you up someone from around here that knows Lemon Breeland. "

"Awesome no problem see you then." I say and he nods and walks off and I slide down my door frustrated. I couldn't say no! it was George tucker we're talking about here! I shake my head and change not bothering with anything else for now. I head back into Lavon's and see that he's up and stupid Wade Kinsella is still as well!

"Hey Lavon morning. "

"Morning Z Wade. " He says greeting us

"So doc what was George Tucker over for? trying to bag two girls at once?" Wade snorts and I just glare at him

"No George tucker was over to invite me. "

"Invite you? on what?"

"To dinner with his girlfriend. "

"Fiancé." Lavon corrects and I just roll my eyes grabbing the cereal box

"Fiancé. " I say faking a smile and Wade shrugs

"Wow you and Lemon in the same room..... that's like hell in one place I wouldn't dare go there. "

"Wait y'know Lemon?"

"The town bitch? who doesn't. " I laugh at this at least Wade sees the game she plays.

"Sadly yes. "

"Why did you say yes then?"

"Cuz...... I'm new here I couldn't reject that..... that's horrible. " I cover up Wade shrugs

"Say? Wade y'know Lemon Breeland and you hate her you think you can be my guest for the dinner? "

"Guest? I'm sorry what? was I suppose to be paying attention to you doc?" I roll my eyes at this.

"Guest date whatever you want to call it! please just..... come with me?"

"They want you to bring a guest. "
