Well I know I'm gonna be, I'm gonna be the man who comes back home to you

Dotter sits on the floor of the gym with a wrench in hand, surrounded by springs and bolts. A treadmill lay before her stripped to its bare bones. Natasha works on the bars pulling herself up, over and around as she trains. Ryan is trying to catch medicine balls that Clint was throwing at him. Clint dodging the balls that were flung his way from an angry, red faced Ryan.

The gym was empty a side from the four and soon Ryan hit Clint on the foot with a medicine ball and the archer begins to yowl and Ryan leaps up to push him to the floor. Dotter looked up at the fighting men growling at their interruption.

Surprisingly Ryan is able to tackle Clint down and hold him there.

For a few seconds, at least.

Clint flicks his legs up and kicks Ryan in the side, the mechanic falling down with a groan, Clint then pouncing on him.

Natasha sets herself down and makes her way over to the brawling pair. She flips Clint over her shoulder, bending his arm behind his back. "Enough." She hisses, sweeping her leg out behind her to knock over Ryan who had attempted to take her by surprise.

She then picks up Ryan by his collar and growls at him. "That's enough Ryan." However, Ryan's eyes are not holding hers, they are looking lower.

Natasha swats his chest. "Eyes up here you moron." Ryan's eyes dart up quickly and he has a stupid grin plastered on his face. Ryan pecks Natasha on the cheek before using her surprise to wiggle out of her grasp and dart out of the gym.

Natasha sighs turning back to the bars, however her eyes catch something in the mirror, the necklace Ryan had given her had made its way out of under her top and was hanging in between her breasts.

She gave a small chuckle. "Idiot." She mumbled affectionally tucking the necklace back under her top.

For the next week, Ryan and Dotter worked on making new weapons using a glowing blue cube, namely the tesseract, for a secret project Fury had issued them, the weapons were unusual, not to mention deadly, blowing up upon firing or disintegrating the target if it even fired properly at all. And Ryan was uncomfortable making such dangerous tools, but he sucked up his terror, Fury had been kind enough to give him this job after the whole Hyde mishap. It was one day during the testing of a new gun that Natasha walked in.

That was an awkward conversation to have. But Natasha understood that the whole thing was hush-hush and the incident was all but forgotten. Until some ass claiming he was a God stole the tesseract. Fury in desperation calls up a team of 'supers' Ryan didn't make the list. But that didn't stop him.

"Clint is my Goddamn friend. There is no way in Hell that I am going to sit this out Fury!" Ryan exclaims, anger washing off him in rolls.

"You are not even a level five agent Dallas." Director Fury explains before walking off.

Ryan grumbles but decides to wander off only to have his com crackle to life. "The Hulk has been released. Repeat. The Hulk has been released."

Cursing Ryan darts around to the sound of crashing.

The Hulk was pissed. And Ryan was scared, he ran about like a headless chicken, squawking loudly as the great green beast smashed through walls, walkways, wires and god knows what else. But the noises Ryan was making only angered the Hulk more. Not that Ryan knew this, he was only focusing on surviving.

Ryan was just about to be squished by the angry beast when suddenly the big guy was thrown to the side by a blur of silver and gold.

Thor stands in front of Ryan, twirling his hammer. Ryan then got the hell out of there, Thor could hold his own.

The last few hours were a blur for Ryan if he was being honest, all he knew was the black-haired bastard had thrown his mind mojo onto Clint and the Natasha had whacked him over the head, literally knocking the sense back into him. The rest of the plan- well he had no plan, he'd been separated from the team as soon as he'd stepped foot onto the streets of New York. He whirls around and shoots an alien in the face and winces. He could only think of the backlash of sneaking off the Helicarrier, but the 'Avengers' were two members down after the escapade of Loki and the Hulk out, Ryan figured they needed all the help they could get.

But being immersed so deeply into his thoughts wasn't good for him at this very moment as a blue charge fires at him and hits his side, making him tumble down with a grunt. However, he springs back up and shoots the offender in the chest and the poor thing choked on its blood as it keeled over.

As Ryan shakes his head to clear it he grins. Ryan Dallas was back in the running.
