Yoongi wasn't particularly excited about being at Namjoon's party.

Nothing like being hit on by a man in his 40's, whose breath smelled strongly of vodka. Mmh. Nothing like getting something, that you can only hope to god is soda, spilled all over your new clothes. Nothing like a hot room with people everywhere, making smalltalk, or making out, and standing awkwardly in the corner. Nothing like drunk girls giggling at you, or your hair (??) or whatever, basically.

No, something about parties just didn't do it for him.

But he wanted to do this for Taehyung. And also, the one thing about parties that Yoongi didn't mind, alcohol, would be involved. Yoongi was pumped to get drunk and forget about his troubles for a while. His mom. (Hoseok too???)

As always, Yoongi found himself in the kitchen of Namjoon's apartment, abandoned by both Taehyung and Jeongguk. This happened almost every time he went to parties with the couple. It was his own fault, really, he always sought out the most quiet and isolated part of the party-area, and that tended to be either the kitchen or the bathroom. Now, Namjoon's small bathroom was already occupied. By one or more people. so Yoongi stuck with the kitchen today.

And as if it couldn't get any worse, Yoongi now spotted a familiar orange-haired boy walking into the room.

No fucking way.

------

Yoongi had expected the orange haired menace to leave soon. But, for some reason, Hoseok had decided to stay around in the kitchen. He was currently lecturing Yoongi about how to... be a fuckboy? Something like that. He was tipsy and annoying. Typical Hoseok. Yoongi hated that he didn't hate him.

The elder had expressed to the younger, that he'd honestly rather stay at home and play video games or something. He didn't like parties that much.

"I swear to god dude, you're never gonna get any girls like that!" Hoseok exclaimed slightly condescending, and took a sip of his beer, leaning on the counter of Namjoon's kitchen. Yoongi scoffed. Uh, obviously.

"Well I'm not really interested 'getting girls' as you so tastefully put it..." Yoongi said, shrugging, and took a drink as well.

"What the hell man, are you gay or something?" The younger chuckled.

"Uh, yeah." Yoongi deadpanned, and raised his left eyebrow. Hoseok was probably joking.

Yoongi could almost hear the gears grinding in the youngers head. He raised both his brows, as Hoseok furrowed his. Wait, the fuck? Did Hoseok not know that already? How could he not?

"Are you fucking with me?" the orange haired boy asked, voice wavering slightly. He seemed genuinely confused, his gaze not leaving Yoongi as if searching for a sign of a joke.

The older snorted, and placed his drink on the counter, "... uh, no? Wh- Hoseok, did you not know?"

"I... no..." He mumbled, looking down at his bottle. He looked thoroughly taken aback. The amused look, that normally was painted on his face was gone.

Yoongi laughed, actually laughed, and crunched over a bit. This was just fucking golden.

"Well, how the fuck should I have known?!" Hoseok looked at the older again, aggression in his voice. Why was he angry all of a sudden?

"I think the question is, how didn't you know? Are you just so über straight that this went over your head?" Yoongi said, catching his breath from laughing, but Hoseok rolled his eyes and scoffed. Seriously, what was up his ass? They always bickered, and though it wasn't particularly friendly, it was never out of anger, just irritation.
