Hurricane Irma. There were going to be millions of power outages in Florida, but our house wasn't one of them. So, my wonderful mother decided to invite her high school friend and her two sons to stay with us.
But here's the best part- I'm sleeping on the couch, because one of them would be sleeping in my room and the other in the guest room. Yeah.
I played some music on my phone as I cleaned up my room, preparing for unexpected guests. For some reason, I second guessed a lot of the things in my room. I actually considered hiding a few pictures of my friends and I.
But he can deal with it I guess. I was finishing up putting everything away and I decided to change out of my pajama shirt to put on something half decent.
But in the middle of taking it off, someone with a suit case walked in that I didn't recognize. I let out a surprised yelp, and flopped onto my bed to cover myself.
"Sorry!" He exclaimed, immediately walking out. I could feel my face getting so red, and the fact that he was incredibly attractive didn't help my case.
I got over my embarrassment and threw on a new shirt. I guess I didn't hear them come in over my music. I turned it off and walked to the living room.
I saw my mom and her friend talking, while the twins were sitting there awkwardly. The one who walked in my room looked like he was actually listening and the other looked kind of emo on his phone with headphones, not giving a care in the world.
The three that were paying attention looked over at me in sync and I gave an awkward smile paired with an equally awkward wave.
"This is my daughter, (y/n)." My mom introduced me. Ethan lightly punched his brothers shoulder, and he glanced up at me. I could tell he wasn't interested in anything because he greeted me with an eye roll. What a ray of sunshine.
"I'm Ethan. And this is Grayson, but  he's not big on introductions." Ethan commented. He seemed completely unfazed that he just walked in on me changing.
I sat down with all eyes on me for some unknown reason, so I shifted in my seat.
"(Y/n) plays soccer!" My mom blurted out. I let out a distressed sigh and slouch in my seat.
"That's cool, I play football. What school do you go to?" He questioned, trying to start up some conversation.
"East lake." I commented, surprised at my sudden loss of social ability.
"You're our rivals, I go to Riverdale." He said with a grin. Something about him seemed so comfortable, but I was just so tense.
Conversation from there only got better, and we actually started to bond.
Later, my mom made dinner and we all started to get ready to go to bed. I needed a few things from my room to take to my new home, "the couch".
We all went our separate ways, tired after a long day. I went to my bathroom to get my retainer and wash my face.
As I was doing that, Ethan walked in on me. For the second time today. I had clothes on this time so it wasn't half as embarrassing. He began to slowly back out awkwardly.
"You're fine, but we've got to stop meeting like this." I said sarcastically. He chuckled and walked in. I realized my retainer was giving me a lisp, which was something I hated about wearing it.
"Thank you for being so chill about having some stranger sleeping in your room." He said walking closer to me. I gave a small nod, and started to brush my hair in the mirror.
He slowly reached across me for his toothbrush, making my heart rate pick up. He was staring at me with one eye brow up knowing the effect he had on me.
We both stood there in silence, doing what we had to do. I coughed, just to keep the silence from getting too overwhelming.
He finished brushing his teeth, and leaned to whisper something in my ear.
"I'll see you around. Since it's your house." He said seductively, making me laugh at the irony.
"Goodnight Dolan." I called with a smile as he walked out. I could see him do a peace sign in the mirror and then he was gone.
I glanced in the mirror and I was blushing. Why am I blushing!? Oh yeah, Ethan Dolan the sex god.

Thank you to everyone's support about the hurricane!! By the time Irma got to where I was it was weaker, so there was minimal damage. We still lost power for a few days though. So we had to stay at my moms friends house and he had a hot son and it was AWKWARD! All of my friends and family are okay and so are their houses. Sending prayers to anyone majorly impacted ♥️🙏🏼
