I tapped my fingers nervously as I watched the plane begin to skim the ground before it bumpily made full contact with the ground.

"Welcome to L.A!" the pilot said in a way too cheerful voice. As everyone rushed to get off the plane I just took my time gathering my stuff. I never really understood why people scrambled to be the first ones in the aisle. It takes forever anyways so why stand in the line when you could just sit and watch everyone scurry off the plane like their lives depended on it.

After only few people are left on the plane I finally decide to get up. I roughly pull my bags out from the upper hand compartment and begin to walk out of the cramped plane.

"Have a nice day!" I walk past the annoyingly preppy woman fast without saying anything back. I don't understand how someone can be that preppy and shit and smile that fake smile all the time.

Once I reach the area where my luggage was I fight the urge to hide and instead put on a forced smile. My aunt was spastically waving her arms and yelling my name frantically in an over-joyed voice. I quickly walk toward my crazy, embarrassing aunt and try not to make contact with anyone.

"Hi Aunt Crystal," I say as she hugs me tightly, so tightly I found it hard to say anything.

"I've missed you so much! Abby we are going to have such a great time together!" She said in her very loud voice.

"Yep..." I mumbled but she was already going to retrieve my bags. She was still rambling about the things we would do not even realizing that I had not followed her.

I held back a laugh when she turned around to see that I wasn't behind her. She laughed at herself before going back to her mission of retrieving my bags.

I stared out the window of my Aunt's tacky light blue voltzwagon bug. I stuck my earbuds in but i still heard my muffled Aunt's voice in the background. Does she ever stop talking?

"Weeee aree heeerrreee!" She sang as she pulled out my earbuds causing me to just about spaz out of my seat.

"God, could you give me a warning or something before you scream in my goddamned ear?!" I asked getting irritated with her peppy attitude.

"Gosh, Ms. Grumpy Pants! Don't get so pissed at me when I didn't do anything. Oh! also, no swearing my house," Are you fucking me? I am not a 5 year old, I can curse if a want to.

"I'm not even in your house yet," I mumbled. I slammed my door shut and made my way to the tiny house. I tried the doorknob but surprise surprise, it was locked.

"Oh come on," I whispered to myself.

"I'm coming!" My aunt says as she carries my bags and manages to hold up a key at the same time. I look at the sight another second before feeling very guilty and start to go over to help her.

I take my bags and she pretends to wipe sweat from her forehead like carrying my bags was like lifting 50 elephants. I just roll my eyes at her.

Once she finally opens the door to her home I find myself staring at a very colorfully decorated room. I feel out of place with my worn band tee and black jeans paired with black vans.

After about ten minutes of sitting on her bight green couch and doing nothing but feel awkward I decide to go explore.

"I'm going to go explore the town ok?" I say and immediately slam the door before I hear her chirpy voice answer me.

Once I start to walk around I immediately get drawn a small music store on a corner. When I enter The shop I see tons of guitars lined up on the walls and the place littered with sheet music. In the middle of the room there is a row of CDs and the next to it was old records. I smiled a little to myself finally finding something I liked here.

I made my way over to the records and flipped through each one carefully, studying everyone of them.

As I studied the records I heard a faint sound of someone playing guitar. The sound was comforting and I found myself tapping along with the beat.

I felt slightly disappointed when I got to the end of the records and just stood there, listening again to the guitarist. I decided after a moment to go find where the sound was coming from, my curiosity getting the best of me.

I walked around the messy place until I stopped at a door that said 'Employees Only'. The music was coming from inside there. I hesitated before carefully opening the door.

I saw a boy facing away from me strumming away on a acoustic guitar and humming to himself. every few minutes he would stop and scribble something messily down on some piece of paper before strumming again.

I watched in awe for a few minutes just listening to the beautiful music.

"Can I help you? Or do you just like to act stalkerish and watch people and stare at them?" He said without even turning around. I jumped a little bit not realizing he knew I was there.

"Oh- uh sorry..." I tried to come up with a reason for me being a creepy ass person just standing there in the doorway but my mind just went blank.

"Did you read the sign? It says employees only. You're not aloud in here," He turned around to face me. His piercing blue eyes staring into me

"Sorry, God. Don't bite my head off," I said jokingly but he didn't crack a smile. He just stared at me with a blank expression. a few minutes later he turned back around, ignoring my presence again, and started to play the song he was playing before.

"Rude much?" I muttered to myself as I walked out of the store.
