I don't get it. How could I not like somebody but at the same time like him? And on top of that feel like I know him but at the same time I know absolutely nothing? Luke has messed up my whole damn mind. It has been three weeks now and I have nothing new on Luke. When he said he liked to keep things a mystery he was serious.

"What's the answer to number 7?" Courtney leaned over to me.

"A," I mumbled not even looking up. Somehow I have learned to actually enjoy Courtney's presence some what. No matter how typically girly, popular-y she acted, she was still a pretty good friend. We have nothing in common but for some reason that's what makes our friendship work. I tap my pencil and try to pay attention to class but I end up repeatedly looking at the clock and out the window.

As I glanced over at the window once again, I noticed something different. A car was parked across the street from our school with a curly haired boy sitting in the drivers seat. It was the same boy and car that Luke was dropped off by. What was he doing here? And who the hell was he?

"Uh, Mr. Lurkins, may I use the restroom?" I asked while raising my hand and trying my best to sound polite so he would say yes. Mr. Lurkins just sighed and then looked at the board as if trying to decide whether or not what he was teaching was extremely important or not.

"Is it an emergency?" He questions me. You have got to be fucking me. I hate when teachers do this. I mean if we need to use the bathroom the we need to use the bathroom. Do we really need to hold it so long that our bladders are about to explode and for it to be an emergency?

"Yes," I say quickly, trying not to sound sarcastic. He nods his head in signal to let me go and I bolt out of the classroom as fast as I can.

Once I get outside without anyone noticing I head straight for the gray car.

"Um, hey?" The curly haired boy says to me when I uninvitedly opened the passenger down and jumped inside.

"Who are you?" I questioned him right away.

"I think I should be asking you that question. I mean you are the one who randomly got in my car," He giggled.

"Im Abby," I said quickly.

"Ashton," He stuck out his hand for me to shake and I awkwardly shook it.

"Ok, now why are you parked across from my school. Also, how do you know Luke? I saw you drop him off at his house,"

"Man, Luke was right you are creepy but oddly attractive," He smiled. Luke talked about me to him?

"You didn't answer my question," I said impatiently.

"Ok god!" He chuckled again. "Luke and I are, uh, pretty good friends I guess. And as of why I am here it's because I'm picking up Luke from school," Ok so they were friends so maybe he knew a lot about Luke. Maybe he would tell me something.

"Why is everyone afraid of Luke?" I asked yet another question. Ashton sighed most likely sick of all the questions, but I honestly don't care.

"Why don't you ask Luke?" I just groan, sick of not getting answers.

"Can you tell me something about him? Anything?" I almost shout.

"Only child, mom is always away on business trips so usually he is alone in that huge house. His dad left him when he was little and it was one of those things where he doesn't really miss his father or care about him because he was too young to remember him, let alone feel the pain of him leaving," Finally some new information! That sucks that his father left him and his mom when he was young. I hate dickheads like that.

"Thank you. Whenever I ask people about him I always either get mysterious answers or they start to freak out. It's quite weird and annoying," I smile at him.

"Mysterious is Luke's specialty, his trademark," He laughs once more.

"Well it's damn annoying," I whine.

"Why are you so interested in him?"

"I honestly don't know. There's just something about him," I shrug. I just about jump when the car door opens unexpectedly.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" He looks at me, obviously confused and thrown off by my presence.

"No reason," I mumble. "Why are you skipping school?" I question him back.

"No reason," He mocks me. I roll my eyes at him.

"So where are we going?" I smile at Luke.

"We? Who invited you to come with me and ashton?" He frowns which makes me laugh.

"Luke stop trying to act all tough and cool when you're obviously not," says ashton playfully punching Luke in the shoulder. By now I had already made my way in the back. "Besides Abby seems cool,"

"Thanks," I laugh.

"Fine," Luke grumbles, obviously not thrilled that I have joined them.

"Woohoo!" Shouts Ashton while he turns up the radio and we drive away from school to god knows where.
