You and Peter are in a costume shop, trying to find the perfect costume for him. You already had your costume at home, ready to go. But when you found out Peter didn't have one, it didn't go unnoticed by you. You dragged him to the nearest Halloween shop with a few costumes still in it and went on your merry way.
"I'm not gonna buy this."
Peter just came out of the dressing room, clad in a red and yellow Pied Piper costume. You took several pictures of course, and laughed every time you looked back at him. He stormed away and came back in his normal clothes.
You both went back to browsing through the aisles, occasionally grabbing one off of the rack and trying it on. Peter got excited when he found all of the Avengers costumes on one rack in the back. Immediately, he went to the Iron Man costume and you just shook your head, smiling. You knew that he was probably his number one fan. You kept skimming the rack, sifting through the several costumes. You smirked as you picked the perfect costume for Peter.
"Turns out that I am not an adult small," Peter sighs as he places it back on the rack.
"Maybe you're getting fat?" You say, poking his stomach.
He laughs and lifts up his arm, "Or maybe I just got a little too into self-improvement!"
You practically did a double take as you looked at his arm. Last you saw, he had angel-hair pasta for arms. "Damn, when did that happen?" You ask in disbelief.
"O-oh uh y'know just- um- summer stuff, af- after school-" he stammers, his face getting a little pink from your staring.
You give him a look. "Riiiight... well hey, at least you're fit enough to be the one and only," you throw the costume at Peter. "SpiderMan!"
Peter looks at the costume, then to you, then back at the costume and laughs. He tosses it back at you and you place it on the rack. "No way am I being SpiderMan. I already have to b- um h-have to deal with-with uh... his number one fan at home!"
You give Peter a look that says 'oh really wow fascinating'.
"Yeah yeah yeah," he continues his rambling. "Aunt May is- is a major SpiderMan fan, yeah. She has- she has posters, and... an-and t-shirts, all kindsa SpiderMan merch and I don't- I don't wanna... I don't know. It wouldn't be right."
"I thought I was his number one fan, and you know that," you say, pointing to your t-shirt with a spider on it. He just stares anywhere but you. You just give him the same piercing look you gave him before. You step closer to him and he starts to back up, eventually into another rack. "You're hiding something, Peter," you state. "And I'm gonna find out what it is, y'know I always do." He nods quickly and you go back to the rack. Taking the SpiderMan costume, you place it back in his hands. "I promise this costume is perfect you, Peter. Please wear it," you gesture to the changing rooms.
Peter looks at the cheap red and blue fabric; he hesitates before handing it back to you. "I ha-have um... I have a better one. Aunt May got it for me a while back. I'll wear it tonight. Promise," he says. You sigh and go back to the carts. He wraps an arm around your shoulder and gives you a side hug. "Now, to pick the perfect costume for the perfect perso- uh wait, no- I-I mean-" Peter stammers, his face as red as the Scarlet Witch.
You chuckle and say, "It's fine Peter, I know what you mean. I swear, it's like you can't talk today. And besides, I already have my costume made out."

You stand in front of the full-body mirror that sits behind your door. After making sure the small black wings were properly sewn onto the back of your tan trench coat, you slipped it on to complete your Castiel costume. You had borrowed one of your brother's old suits to wear for the costume.
