Her mind hadn't gotten much time to process that Thursday evening after she had stayed the night in Paulo's guest room. Both in separate rooms, but their minds on each other. How they wished that they could fall back, be the family they had planned six years back. Things never went as planned, they were in this grey space of not knowing had to act or what to do.

Yet, with all the noise going around with few hours to spare before Serena could tie the knot, Celine was emotionless, letting the makeup artist finish her up. She couldn't help but wonder where did all the broken heart go after they had been crushed into pieces.

and Paulo could count all the mistakes that he had committed, but only one stood out from the never ending list. He still could see the look of Celine's face when she left. How he wished that he would've fought for her.

Celine had spent many sleepless nights, that the words he spoke would rebuild their broken home. Sarai scooted herself closer to her sister, a frown on her lips. Celine seemed out of it, a blank expression on her face.

"Why didn't he fight for me?" Celine finally asked. She turned to look at Sarai, her brown eyes searching for answers. Seeing him had brought back the whirlwind of emotions she had once bottled up, "I wanted him to fight for me." She furiously blink back the tears afraid to ruin her makeup.

Sarai didn't know what to say. Celine had never spoke to her family about the subject, afraid she would lose it. She hold her sister, the same way she hold her when she lost it once after Salomé's birth. She had found her near her crib, clutching a photograph to her chest, tears running wildly from her tired eyes to her cheeks.

This time Celine wasn't crying, she just stared. She had done plenty of crying in her early times that she suddenly had no more tears left to spill, "That's all I ever wanted."

Serena walked in, her hair and make up done, and the dress she had gotten done by the Spanish designer, Rosa Clara hugging her curves in all the right places. Her smile was replaced by a frown and padded over, "What's wrong?" The twenty-nine year old asked. Celine shook her head a breath leaving her lips, a bright smile as she reassured that it was just fine.

"Nothing that you should worry about." Celine finally stood up, "It's your big day." She smiled.

Sarai stood up as well and smoothed out the dress she wore, "I'm going to look for Chantel."

Celine smiled at her sister. Serena looked beautiful. The ivory colored dress, with lace detailing all over hugged her curves only to have it alight puff at towards the end, "It doesn't even look like you had your second child just a few months ago."

Serena smiled, "Sometimes a person doesn't fight, because they're scared of of pushing them further away." She reasoned, "He didn't fight for you because your hearts are wired together."

Salomé bursted through the door followed by, Tiago, Serena's three year old son. Celine smiled watching as her little one twirl in the same colored dress the braids maids wore, "Tia you look pretty." Salome gushed hugging her aunt tightly.

"So do you, miss thing."

Celine trailed off looking for a flower crown that went with both the braids maids, "Don't forget your dad is picking you at nine." She reminded. Salomé nodded excitedly, remembering that her father had promised her a movie night with sweets.

"I know mommy. Daddy and are going to have so much fun!" She cheered.

And Celine stood next to her sisters as they watched Serena vow to love her husband for eternity. Vows that had managed to bring tears to everyone eyes, at how beautiful and how much emotion had been put into them. Serena's husband has managed to have a few tears slip his eye, Serena quickly reaching out to wipe it off.
