"I've been asking for ages, Saeran. Ages," complained [Y/N], twirling a lock of purple and [H/C] hair between her fingers. "I think I've proved myself enough, don't you?"
"Do not question Savior's motives, Believer 22," warned Saeran halfheartedly as he typed.
"That's just it, though," sighed the 20-year-old. "I'm tired of being Believer 22. I've been doing everything she's told me to do from day one. I didn't even need to take any more sedatives after initiation! Savior says I was way more cooperative than you. So why hasn't she given me my mission?"
"Patience, my dear [Y/N]," cooed Saeran, "I'm sure she'll offer you one soon."
"Easy for you to say," pouted [Y/N], "You're already a Disciple."
Saeran chuckled. "You've got me there."
"Well, at least I get to help Savior initiate a new member today," sighed [Y/N], pacified by the thought.
"You won't get to if Savior catches you slacking off again," deadpanned Saeran.
[Y/N] groaned. "Fine, mom," she said before turning back to her own work. To be honest, she was taking great pleasure in being a massive pain in the ass to Saeran.
Not five minutes later, Savior herself walked into the room, dressed in her usual intricate robes. All the soft chattering amongst her followers stopped instantly, and they eagerly turned their attention to her.
"Believer 22. Disciple 1. Please see me upstairs," said Rika simply.
[Y/N] and Saeran briefly glanced at each other in slight concern before obediently following their Savior.
Did I do something wrong? Thought [Y/N], nervously tugging at the bottom of her oversized purple hoodie.
Once they were all seated in her office, Savior fixed her gaze on [Y/N]. "Believer 22. You have been a member of our family for four years now. You have strengthened your hacking skills with the help of your mentor, Saeran, as well as running a few occasional field errands. It is because of this that I believe you are ready to prove yourself worthy of being a Disciple. You are ready for your first mission."
[Y/N]'s eyes widened in excitement. "Really? Thank you, Savior! I promise, I won't let you down."
Rika smiled warmly. "I'm confident you won't. It's a very important mission, which is why I've decided to entrust it to you. It's simple, yet a bit challenging. Are you sure you'd like to accept this mission?"
"Of course, Savior. I'll succeed or die trying," bowed [Y/N].
She nodded. "In that case, let me explain the mission. As I'm sure you remember, I once created an association called the RFA. We hosted parties to raise money for charities. I wanted to take things... further, but a bad man that I was engaged to tried to stop me. Lying to me, saying I was straining myself far too much. He was a non-believer getting in my way of bringing good people to paradise. So I faked my death, blinded the man, swore him to secrecy, and created the Mint Eye."
[Y/N] looked at her Savior in admiration. "Savior... you're so brave! But what does this have to do with my mission?"
"First, you will infiltrate Bimil. It is the most secure hacking company to ever exist. Saeran was once hurt and betrayed by one of their agents, who happens to be in the RFA. You will become his partner and earn his trust. Then you will trick him into letting you join the RFA. From there, you will befriend Meiko Cho, earn her trust, and eventually invite her to paradise, along with Hyun Ryu, Jumin Han, Jaehee Kang, and Yoosung Kim... please be kind to Yoosung," Rika paused, a shadow of nostalgic sadness covering her face for a split second, but then continued as if nothing had happened. "Once they have come to us, you will help us eliminate that evil man, V. I want the RFA destroyed."
"Don't forget that stupid redhead, Savior. He deserves just as much punishment as V," added Saeran, eyes dark.
"Of course, Saeran. All in good time," smiled Rika, recovering from her emotional state. "[Y/N], as you can see, this is more than just a chance to prove yourself. We are depending on you to bring justice to those who have betrayed us. Do you remember when we brought your parents to justice? Now is your chance to do the same for us."
"I'll do it. For you, Savior. And you, too Saeran. I owe my happy life to you both. I will avenge you," [Y/N] said, determination roaring within her.
Rika smiled and handed her a file. "Saeran has managed to steal a file from an incoming new agent of Bimil's. He was careful to steal the file of Agent 22, who was recently employed. Luckily for us, they do not require the agents to include any personal information when applying for a job, otherwise you'd really have to go deep undercover and risk blowing it. Personal information is not required because once you've joined, you are forced to leave behind your family forever, but you don't have to worry about that. In addition, one can only be employed if they have connections, or if they've been noticed by Bimil. In Agent 22's case, he was noticed. Saeran was able to hunt him down and eliminate him, stealing the files for you in the process. You will pose as Agent 22. You have full access to the company, and have already been partnered up with Agent 707."
"That's incredible, Saeran," [Y/N] said in awe.
"I know," he replied with a slight smirk.
"Any questions, [Y/N]?" Savior asked.
She nodded. "Just one. When do I start?"
Savior beamed, pride and satisfaction evident in her green eyes. "You leave tomorrow at dawn."
[Y/N] nodded.
"You may take the rest of the day off to prepare," said Savior. "Saeran, you may also take the day off."
They both bowed. "Thank you, Savior," they said in unison.
"You're both welcome," she replied.
They turned to leave.
"And [Y/N]," called Savior.
"Yes?"
"Thank you."
[Y/N] smiled. "It's an honor."

"Good luck, Believer 22," said Rika as [Y/N] walked out the door of the Mint Eye.
"Thank you, Savior," she replied.
Saeran took the duffel bag that held [Y/N]'s belongings and handed her the keys to her new car. It was a black Bentley, which she'd chosen herself.
[Y/N] sat in the driver's seat, feeling giddy. Saeran walked up to [Y/N]'s window and tapped on it. She rolled it down.
"Remember, [Y/N], your main objective in the long run is to recruit Meiko Cho and the members of the RFA. I will have Meiko download the RFA messenger app as soon as you leave, so she will already be acquainted with everyone by the time you arrive. In this way, when you introduce yourself you'll have her undivided attention. Well, almost. As you know from reading Meiko's file, she's a 21-year-old Japanese college student. She's in Korea to study, though she's not very bright."
"An impeccably brilliant plan, as always," [Y/N] remarked.
"Yes, well, I believe it's time for you to go," said Saeran, brushing off the compliment. "Good luck, [Y/N]."
"Goodbye to you, too," she smiled, then took off.
A/N: Oh god, I was really worried that V route would align with the story because then I'd be accused of being unoriginal :0 Good thing it made me question my existence instead :)
