sometimes quiet is violent, I find it hard to hide it

"Go on, Noah."

Finn smirked to himself, Gaten optimistically shoving the overwrought boy towards him.

Noah shot Gaten a brief scowl in retaliation, Gaten simply rolling his eyes unaffected.

"Look, I'm sorry about yo-"

"Disregard it." Finn interrupts curtly, an arid tone apparent.

Noah shrugs carelessly. "whatever."

"N0, not whatever," Gaten retorts

"Noah, you're going to give a genuine apology, and Finn, you're going to let him."

Finn pitches the bridge of his nose, now perturbed ; Finn didn't really care to make amends.

But tragically, conscious of Gaten's excuding of friendship, he apperceived the known fact he'd have to at the utter least listen to the pathetic apology.

Finn nodded, unable to put any effort into countering.

Noah groans, fully aware that his act exasperated not only finn, but the other two boys as well, therefore amends had to made, whether the twain of them desired to or not.

Dragging his pale blue reeboks across the dirt, sifting through it, he mumbled a quick disjointed apology.

"I'm sorry for being an ass and grabbing your boombox."

The corners of the curly haired boy's mouth peeked up gently, a ghost of a smirk begging to make an appearance.

"What was that?" Finn teased, cupping his palm to his ear. "Didn't quite catch it."

Noah sent Gaten an exasperated plea, Finn taking a brief swallow of his ginger ale in pure satisfaction.

"Finn," his friend warned. The boy shrugged, twisting the cap back on the canadian beverage.

"It's not my fault it was incoherent."

Gaten waved a hand of dismissal in reply, taking a seat beside Finn.

"You two are hopeless, but the apology was said, so all is forgiven, right?"

Finn inwardly snickered, as he eyed the culprit slowly.

Forgiven? Please.

but although finn's hatred for the boy with the terrible haircut, in his opinion, was vast, his love and desire for his companion's happiness was far greater.

Pursing his lips, he felt a cramped feeling of guilt, but it's a lie with good intentions.

Just do it for Gaten, he'd do it for you and you know it.
