Hi readers,

Here's the newest chapter of WTA. The action's going to pick up after this chapter, so don't complain about it being confusing(: I can't reveal everything now, you'll find out about the town in the next chapter. And in this chapter I focused more on Jo, after this chapter you should get to know the main three girls well.

Anyway, enjoy the story. Don't forget to fan, comment, vote and library this(:

Jo rolled down the window and held up her phone up in the air, hoping that she would get enough reception to make a call. Despite her efforts, nothing changed on the small screen.

“Check your phones.” She said to her friends who were watching her every move with anticipation. After they started shuffling around to find their own cell phones, she retreated her arm back into the car.

“None.” Roxy answered and the siblings nodded, giving each other helpless looks.

Roxy started hyperventilating in her seat, her face twisting into an uncomfortable expression. Unlike her, Jo merely felt panic at their situation. She trusted Willa to come up with a solution, they weren’t in a low budget teen flick. Nothing extraordinary would happen to them and they would somehow find a way back to their motel.

She zoned out the heated argument between the others on what to do and opened her inbox, viewing the last messages she received. There were two from her friends and one from her sister.

“Josie, where are you? Please call me asap!” The urgent toned text from her little sister read. With a roll of her eyes, she viewed her call log and saw that her parents had been calling her persistently the night before and she had failed to answer the frantic calls.

“No, mom’s gonna kill me.” She wailed causing the argument in the car to stop and all eyes turned to her.

“Sorry, I just realized that mom and dad had been trying to reach me since last night.” She stated with a shrug.

“You can call them after we get back, if we somehow manage to.” Roxy snapped, her voice cracking with fright. “I can’t believe we’re stuck here like this.”

“I’ll walk back to the town.” Justin announced, interrupting Roxy’s rant. “You can wait in the car, I doubt someone will come anyway. This road is as deserted as can be, I’ll try to be fast and you’ll be safe.”

“Why can’t we come?” Willa asked, her brows furrowing. Jo could tell that she wasn’t fond of her brother’s idea. Hell, even Jo herself wouldn’t agree with being left alone in a locked car with two girls who were dressed like as if they were just coming from a Jersey Shore party.

“I can’t walk that far, we’ve been driving for more than an hour. How long do you think will it take us to reach the town on foot? You’re welcome to go if you think you can walk in those heels.” Roxy gave another grumpy answer and won herself a glare from Willa.

“We’ll be fine, Justin.” Jo finally decided to put her two cents in. “Try to come back before they rip each other’s head off.”

“Behave!” He scolded his sister with a grin that didn’t reach his worried eyes and took off his jacket, tossing it to the back seat, between Roxy and Jo. “I’m leaving the keys. If you see something suspicious, lock the doors and stay put.”

“Actually, we’d have a better chance of running if we simply went to the woods.” Jo mumbled to herself, scenes from scary movies playing in her mind. She would always scream at the stupid girl to run instead of standing paralyzed in front of the bad guy.
