*A month later*

Colton's POV
I am over at my parents who I live with right now, it's feels weird to be back, I feel like this not my place so I decided to go for a walk. I was just walking around my  neighborhood and was walking around the boardwalk and I found myself sitting on a bench and I heard a voice
"Hey" She said in a sweet tone and I looked up at her
"Hey" I said and she sit down
"You look lost, or sad" She said and I took a breath
"That obvious?" I asked and she nodded 
"Are you new here?" She asked and I shook my head
"I grew up here, but I moved to Tennessee, and recently moved back" I said and she nodded
"By the way, I'm Sydney" She said and I nodded
"Colton" I said shortly and she smiled
"So can you tell me what's wrong?" She asked and I took a breath
"When I was in Tennessee, I met this amazing girl, we started dating, I fell in love with her and she broke up with me" I said and she gave me a sympathy look
"I'm really sorry" She said and I shook my head
"She did it for me, she wanted me to be here with my family, my dad is getting sick so my mom needs help" I said and she gave me a look
"Well at least she didn't cheat on you or anything, she must love you in order to do that" She said and I looked at her
"You think?" I asked and she nodded
"I honestly would've done the same thing, it sucks, but you can't let someone be unhappy just you can be happy" She said and I looked at her
"But I am unhappy" I said and she took a breath
"But you will realize that she's doing you a favor" She said and I nodded and she got her phone and went to take a selfie for a snapchat and I looked at her with a chuckled
"Wanna take a picture?" She asked and I laughed
"My ex girlfriend always did this" I said and I got in and smiled and we ended up exchanging numbers so she sent me a picture  and I smiled at it and I posted it

I smiled at her
"You know, thank you, for you know letting me vent" I said and she nodded
"No problem"

Lisa's POV
I was in my room cleaning it and Dani came in
"Have you been on instagram?" She asked and I shook my head
"No why?" I asked and she took a breath
"I'm not trying to hurt you, but get on there" She said and I took my phone and got on Instagram and seen he posted a picture of him and another girl and Dani spoked up
"Are you okay?" She asked and I nodded
"Yes Dan, I'm fine, I broke up with him, I can't expect him to be miserable " I said and she took a breath and spoked up
"You know I usually don't do this and I usually say you can do better, but are you sure you want things to end with him, I know you had a rough patch with long distance before" She said and I took a breath
"I don't know Dani" I said and she spoked up
"Christina and Nick did it" She said and I spoked up
"We're not Christina and Nick" I said and she spoked up
"No, but you are Lisa and Colton, at least were Lisa and Colton, you guys had something special, and I really wish both of you could've seen you guys from my perspective,  the way you guys looked at each other, held hands, being there for each other, I know you love him lise,  Are you sure you want to end all of that? You want to give it up before you even gave this a chance? Like what do you think is better, seeing him every once in a while or not seeing him at all? And I know it's killing you, are you really sure you wanna give up on him?" She said and I took a breath
"Dani you're right, but the damage has been done, I broke up with him, I hurt him, and plus he already found someone new" I said and she made a look
"Psh, that picture means nothing, he told me that "It's always going to be you" and I believe him, the way he looked at you and everything" She said I looked at her
"What are you saying?" I asked and she took a breath
"I think that you should go to Jersey and talk to him, he did it for you" She said and I took a breath and she spoked up
"You never gonna know unless you try, if you dont" She said and I took a breath
"Fine" I said and she smiled
"Really?" She added and I nodded
"Yes I'm gonna go to Jersey and get Colton back"
