I miss those
Moon lit night's
When we used to stay up
And talk
About nothing.

We were happier
Back then
But we can be happy now.

You're more tired
Then you used to be
And I'm more afraid now

I miss those days
We used to wait
For the other to wake up
And we're so excited
When they did.

I remember how
We would miss each other
After just a few minutes.
Now we barely talk.

I miss those times
You would tell me
That I'm worth it
And that people cared.

I crave those memories
Of when you hugged me
Because I was sad.

I can't remember
A day you couldn't cheer me up
With one of those cute puns.

I miss your silly pouting
And your adorable cat ears

I miss YOU.
And I can't help that.

Sometimes I wish I could
Go back to those days
Where I could sleep
And dream
And smile
And live
Without knowing
I would be happier
Texting you.
