Ani is a reformed genocidal human, and basically nobody believes she can change except Papyrus — even she doesn't believe she can. Her thoughts on him are sort of love-hate: one minute she wants to snap his bones into pieces until he completely turns to dust, the next she's shouting and cursing at someone for making him cry. She does mock him and call him a crybaby or an idiot sometimes, kinda like Chara and Asriel's relationship. Yes, Papyrus is asleep here, and Ani is contemplating what to do about her situation. Her soul is naturally blue, for anyone curious.
