Chapter 12

When they reached home, all are sitting in hall along with pandit.
Nani, on seeing them, asked them to come near her.
Nani: arnav beta, we were thinking of godh bharai of anjali bitiya and your wife khushi. Even though, we still don't accept your marriage, me and anjali wanted you both to get married. Now I realised, we got what we want and the way we got that does not matter. I am a fool to realise it too late. Please forgive me beta.

Nani(turning to khushi): bitiya, please forgive me. i never talked to you properly all these months but i always thought you as my grand daughter.

Khushi: nahi nani, please don't apologize. You are elder. Please. It's our mistake too. We should not have married like that. Please forgive us.

Arnav: yes, it was our mistake too. Please don't say sorry.
Eventually, other family members also said sorry to arshi including dadi(she is acting).

Anjali, who was sitting and seeing this sorry-saying-session spoke.
Anjali: chotte, enough of this sorry borry. Stop it now. Now, let us discuss about the function. See the panditji is ready to announce the date.

All sit on the couch and wait for panditji to tell the date.

Pandit: devayaniji, you can conduct the function on next week on Sunday.(here the present day is Monday).

So, they decided to keep the function on the coming Sunday.
After pandit left, everyone went to their room.
Arshi, along with akki, were going to their room when anjali stops them.
Anjali: chotte, wait!
Arnav: yes, di. Do you want anything?
Anjali: nothing chotte, since the time you brought the kid, i couldn't talk to her properly. Thats why, Can you leave her for sometime​ with me?
Arnav: yes di, one minute. Khushi...
Arnav turned towards khushi.
Arnav: khushi, tell akki to be with di for sometime.
Khushi tells that in sign language to akki.
Anjali seeing this asked, " chotte, what happened? Why is khuhsiji speaking to her in sign language?"
Arnav: di, actually i forgot to say. Her name is akki, she is deaf and dumb. Actually, she is khushi's friend's daughter. Before coming to Delhi, she was very close to khushi. When i brought Akki here, khushi recognised her. That's why i asked khushi to tell her in sign language.
Anjali does not what to say. She stood as a statue for few minutes.
Arnav shook her slightly.
Arnav: di where did you get lost?
Anjali, realising she is infront of arshi, came back to senses.
Anjali: no...nothing chotte, oh god? How can the god be cruel? That's why she cried when we asked her name.
khushi: its k di. Leave it, akki will be with you.
Arnav: k di, i think khushi should rest. Take care of akki and also take care of yourself.
Then arshi went to their room.
Arnav: khushi take some rest. I will fresh up and come.
Arnav made her sleep on the bed and then, went to wash room.
When arnav came back, he saw khushi thinking something.
Arnav went near her.
Arnav: khushi, what are you thinking?
Khushi: arnavji, i was thinking about shyam. You actually went away so that shyam could be free and will do more mistakes right? Did you find any thing?
(guys, the actual reason why arnav went for some many months is to make shyam do mistakes freely. Shyam knows that arnav know his real face.
So, he won't do the mistakes freely.this is main reason.
The other being, arnav couldn't see their family not accepting khushi. And couldn't do anything on khushi's insistence.)
Arnav: yes, khushi he did a lot of mistakes. You already know some.
Khushi confused: what? I know. Arnavji, i don't remember what he did? Please say it clearly.

arnav: leave it khushi, everything you'll know soon. Now you sleep for some time.

Khushi: par... arnavji...
Before khushi could say anything he made her lie down and slept beside her keeping a hand on her waist.
