I took a long relaxing shower and dressed in a black jeans, white tank top and black kimono with a matching veil and hang bag. I put on a light makeup. I wore my white Aldo heels and sprayed some perfume. I walked to where Aasim was sitting. "I'm ready." I announced."And you look stunning." He stated.
We walked hand in hand out of the hotel. "Where are we going to?" I asked looking at him. "You'll see" he said putting on his sun glasses. "Are we going to walk?" I asked when it seems like we weren't going to stop at any moment. "Yes of course, there's a carnival going on downtown so I want you to see it before we head to where ever we're going to." he explained.
"It's not fair, you should've warned me not to wear heels" I pouted. "I can carry you" he smirked. I rolled my eyes. "That won't be necessary."
"Wow! What's this place called?" I asked admiring the paper birds attached to the buildings. "This place is called paper birds festoon, a street during the Santiago de Cuba carnival."
I quickly grabbed my phone from my hand bag and snapped the place. It's so beautiful.
We walked past the place to where the carnival was going on. They were dancing, dressed in colorful clothes. Some people were snapping pictures. Some were taking videos, enjoying the time of their lives. They were just having a great time. I took a picture and sent to my best friends, Amira and Anisa. I didn't even tell them I was traveling. Oh God! What a bad friend I am.
