Trapped Inside

Chapter 6

I look through my closet and look at what to wear. I find a box on the floor and there's a note on top.
"Hi best friend. As you know, the guys probably told you I've gone out for 2 weeks with Steven. I'm so so so sorry I didn't tell you. But this box has the most hottest outfit for clubbing if you're interested and do not take the guys if you're going. They'll watch you head to toe and sneak out so they don't catch you wearing this and I have a surprise for you when I get back! Till then, I'll keep writing letters back and I'm not giving one back until I get one from you.

I open up the box and see the outfit. I put it on and leave my hair down and wavy with just light makeup. I grab my bag and walk downstairs very quietly. I see the boys in the backyard so I walk out the front and get in my car then drive off.
         When I arrive at the party, I decide to have a drink and loosen up but nothing too serious.

Marcus' POV
         We all walk back in, laughing about something Nick said. I look and see that Liv's keys are gone.
         "Have you guys seen Livia?" I ask. They shake their heads no.
         I walk upstairs to her bedroom and I open the door. I see a box on her bed along with a note. I read over it and it's from Winter. She went clubbing.
         "Guys we have to go get Liv." I say. They go to my car and I grab my keys and drive to the club.

Livia's POV
         "Hello there." A guy says.
         "Hello."
         "What is a pretty lady like you doing here alone tonight?"
         "I don't know. What am I doing here?" He smirks.
         "Well we could have a little fun on our own." I shake my head as he grabs my waist.
         I try to push him off but his lips find mine. I keep trying to push him away but he's way stronger than I am. He gets pulled back by someone and fall to the ground from the force. I see Nick, Tristan, Caleb, and Anthony. Anthony holds his hand out to me and I take it cautiously. He's the closest one to Marcus.
          "What just happened?" Anthony asks me. I don't answer.
He pulls me into a hug. I look to where the guy was pulled back and I see Marcus punching him.
          "Anthony! Get Marcus to stop! Please!" I yell. By now my tears are flowing like a river.
Nick, Tristan, and Caleb all pull Marcus off the guy. I step away from Anthony and run out of the club. I spot my car and sit against it, crying.
          "Stop crying. I had to do that to him. You were uncomfortable. I'm sorry if I made you upset. I'll give you a hug to help." He says.
          He puts his arms around me and gives me a light squeeze. I continue crying harder. He lifts me up and takes my keys and hands them to Anthony. He picks me up bridal style and puts me in his car. He drives us home with Anthony taking my car.
          We arrive home and I've calmed down a bit. Anthony suddenly comes from my side and picks me up to take me inside.
          "I'm gonna put you in your room and Mark will be in soon to talk to you." I nod.

~10 minutes later~

          Marcus hasn't come in to talk to me yet. I just pull the blankets over me and close my eyes.
          About a couple minutes later, Marcus comes and shakes me a little. I poke my head out of the blankets and look at him.
          "You alright?" I nod my head.
          "You know it's ok not to be. Everyone makes mi--" That's all I recall hearing him say cause I fall asleep through the rest.

          I wake up and all I hear is silence. Is no one here? Am I alone?
          I get up and I see a few things on my desk. A letter, a card, and a small little box. I open the letter and it's from Nick, Tristan, Caleb, and Anthony. Not Marcus though. I shrug and it reads:

"Dear Liv,
        We heard you fell asleep last night a little after Marc came in and tried to talk to you and don't worry, he's not mad. He just never mind, he'll tell you sooner or later. Well we will see you later tonight.
Sincerely,
Nick, Anthony,
Caleb, Tristan"

Next I open the card and it reads:

"Meet me where the water gives off a summer breeze at 9 and wear what's in the small box"

It doesn't say who it's from. But I shrug and open the small box. It's a necklace that has the letter M on it. An M? Who would give me that?

I put on an a sweater with jeans and converse. Lastly, I put the necklace on. I look at myself in the mirror. Let's find out who this person is.

I grab my keys and head out the door to my car. I read the card carefully again. I'm thinking it may be the beach. I drive to the beach and walk down the path to it. I see the water and feel the breeze. Next, I see lights around someone that's turned around on a bench.

I walk over to the bench and tap on that persons shoulder. He turns around and it's Marcus. Marcus? Why would he be here?

          "Why are you here?" I ask him.
          "I was the one who gave you the card and small box."
          "Why the letter M though? On the necklace?"
          "It's the first letter of my name and if you look," he points to his neck, "I have the letter L."
          "Why?"
          "I've liked you for a while and I know we've just recently started talking but I wanted to tell you I do. You're so shy and you shouldn't. You keep everything to yourself and you shouldn't as well."
          "You hurt me a lot in the past Marcus."
          "Because you're so easy! It's like you're trapped or something!"
          "You don't know you're trapped inside until you know how much you want out."
          Then I walked away from the person who cause everything and hurt me.
          "Wait! Livia! Please!"

Hey! Sorry I've been gone for so long, I've had other stuff and family stuff going on! But here's another update and I'll start writing more!
