The bass beats in my ears, thumping in my chest. My heartbeat synchronises until I can't tell which is which.

"Say that you want me every day, that you want me every way"    my voice is becoming a bit hoarse, and my panting is almost hard to hide. Nevertheless, I keep moving.

"That you need me, got me trippin' super psycho love" my ankles ache. I am sore all over, but this is my last song. I just have to push out the last few movements.

"Aim, pull the trigger, feel the pain getting bigger" soft purple and pink lights mix with royal blue, dancing across the stage, illuminating my dancing figure on the otherwise dark floor. My backup dancers, all clad in black, are getting tired too. I can tell.

"Go insane from the bitter feeling, trippin' super psycho love" I strike one last pose, the roaring of people in the crowd now deafening me now that the music has ended. My chest heaves. I am completely exhausted, but a smile slowly creeps onto my face. Blood is roaring in my ears, and I love it. That song was my most popular one yet, and it happened to be the only song where I sang instead of rapped.

I adjust my headset, grinning. "Ah, that was my last song for the night. Thank you Pistols for coming tonight, it means a lot to me. Did you guys enjoy it?" I paused, hearing the crowd cheer even more, chanting "BB" and waving their homemade signs.  I chuckled. "Well, I hope so. It's my last one for a while." I sat down on a stool that one of my backup dancers dragged onstage for me, still catching my breath.

"Seriously though, I really can't thank you guys enough for supporting me. I've been an artist for about four years, and just one year ago even I never would have imagined that I'd have a stage all to myself one day. This is my dream, and you guys made it happen. So." I cleared my throat. "For the future, I will try my best to keep bringing you new music and keep growing and improving as a musician. I won't let you guys down." My smile faltered a bit, but it was barely noticeable.  I don't think anyone caught it.

I stood up, removing my black snapback from my head. Even louder cheering came from the first few rows closest to me. At the end of every concert, I throw my hat into the crowd for a fan to keep as a souvenir. I always sign the hat on the bill to save the fan the trouble of trying to obtain an autograph from me. I walk towards the very edge of the stage, turning around facing away from the crowd. The hat is tossed in some random direction, and I whirl back around to see a girl with dyed pink hair grinning with delight, holding my hat. She gives a beaming smile to me, and I wave back to her.

"And, with that, I hope you all have a good night. V.I.Ps please follow the security guard in orange to stage left, he will take you to the meet-and-greet area."

I walked off stage as people filed out of the seats to their respective areas. Once I passed the curtains, the grin that was on my face disappeared, leaving a solemn, blank expression. Well actually, that is my neutral expression. I've been told I have "resting sad face". I wonder why.

I shook my head, running fingers through my hair. "Stupid." I muttered to myself.  I don't know why I suddenly made such a big promise like that. A million thoughts run through my head, none of them really making sense but they all connected. Who's to say I won't let them down? There's always the off chance that I'll finally crack and BB will cease to exist. Still, I meant what I said. It wasn't faked. I just wish I had thought it through more.  Oh well, I said it and there were hundreds of people probably recording it.

I'm overthinking things, probably. I saw my manager and CEO of BigHit, PD-nim and walked over towards him. He looked up from his phone. "Ah, Colby-ssi. You did great out there, your practice paid off greatly." he smiled, clapping me on the back once. I nodded, taking hold of the water bottle he held out for me and chugging it. I sweat a lot despite the chilly night, so I was pretty thirsty.
