3RD POV

After that night, Colby would have loved to say that he was fine; that things finally started going well for him. His secret with his hyungs was out, and there was no turning back. They knew everything, the scars, the pain, the hiding. Now he had no reason left not to be close with them and finally be a part of a family again.

However, things were currently not fine.

Colby lay in his bed in his shared room with Yoongi, shaking and shivering violently. He was fine for a couple days without his meds, but a week and 5 days was too much for his body to handle. That was part of the reason he had fainted; he was already beginning to withdraw from them while taking the blood thinners. He had been violently sick for the past four days, hands clammy, his entire body soaked in sweat. He couldn't keep any food down. It was absolutely miserable.

A couple times, Yoongi tried offering Colby to just take some of his, since they were prescribed the same thing. Colby refused, however.

"Hyung, no. It's illegal, I'm on doctor's orders to stay off of them, and you and I both know we can't make that bottle last between the two of us until your next prescription. I don't want you going through this, too."

Yoongi couldn't help but agree with him, however reluctant he was. After the third time Colby denied him, he gave up trying.

All seven other members sat down on the couches in their living room, watching some random show on T.V while they let Colby rest. Yoongi sat with Jungkook's legs in his lap (he had attempted shoving the younger off, but gave up when he wouldn't stop). He threw his head back in frustration, running his fingers through his hair.

"I'm going to lose it. I am going to lose it. There has to be some way to help him." he groaned, rubbing his face with his hands. Jin, who was sitting next to him, sighed, slumping down.

"Yoongi, we've tried everything. We've made him as comfortable as we can. So-yi noona says the only thing we can do right now is to let his body detox. The only reason it's so bad now is because he had been on them for so long."

Yoongi rolled his eyes, sighing. "I know that, but just go look at him! He looks half-dead."

"You're not the only one worried here, hyung. We all want to just hold him in our arms until he gets better." Jungkook grumbled, tapping his fingers on his thigh. Jungkook shifted, scrolling on his phone through Instagram.

Currently, he was looking through Colby's account. Most of the pictures were aesthetic ones, or images of Colby's face, which usually held a dark look in his eyes. One thing Jungkook admired about BB was his photogenic nature. He'd heard Colby complain a few times about not being able to take a good picture, however, every one he took fascinated Jungkook. If he wasn't an idol, he'd make an amazing photographer or model. His pictures all had a gritty, almost ethereal vibe to them.

Jungkook lingered on a particular photo. Colby sat in a window, an oversized grey sweater falling around his slender frame. His silver hair was pushed back, exposing his forehead. His sharp, angular cocoa eyes gazed out of the window as his hands clutched a pastel pink boba tea. Jungkook smiled, remembering that photo. Colby had Taehyung take it for him, to which the older happily obliged. This picture, in comparison to the ones prior, had a soft, warm feel to it.

Jungkook sat up, swinging his legs off of Yoongi's lap. He leaned on the older, showing him his phone. "Hey, hyung. Look at this photo compared to all of the rest."

Yoongi hummed, taking the phone from Jungkook and studying it. A small smile fell over his face, eyes softening from their previous distressed expression. "I remember this. All of the ones before it seem kind of sad, and distant. This one seems warm and soft."
