"Can I have one?"

Ethan asked as he reached for one of my chips.

I didn't even reply before he grabbed one and stuffed it in his mouth.

"Sure" I say sarcastically.

"What if we actually die down here and we never kiss because you refused?"

I chuckle at his persistence.

"Then that would suck" I tap his nose.

"Come on, just one ki-"

"Oh just kiss her already"

We both glance at the man as he interrupts Ethan.

I roll my eyes while Ethan grinned.

"You heard the man"

"Maybe tonight, when everyone is asleep and isn't watching"

He jokingly pouts and lays down, resting his head on my thighs and closes his eyes.

"Hey el, you ok? You've been really quite"

I turn to Elizabeth as she doesn't reply.

I then tap her shoulder and she continues to ignore me.

When I see that her eyes weren't closed, I begin to worry.

"Elizabeth"

I shake her motionless body, yet no response.

"Elizabeth"

My eyes start to well up with tears as I see that she wasn't breathing.

"What's wrong with her?"

I ask Ethan as he sits up and examines her body, me being too afraid to see for myself.

"She isn't breathing, and I can't find a pulse."

I buried my head in my hands and sobbed.

"What the hell, Jolene. Why aren't you breathing"
