Cursed Wings

Chapter 4.

I will probably wake up now . This the weirdest dream i ever had.

"Avril this is not a dream. This is all real and this is your destiny . You are a hybrid of the Nealec and Aerodyne race. You have come to age and now it is time for you to decide if you want to be an Aerodyn or a Nealec . So you will be spending the next 3 months here in Aerodyne and the next 3 months in Nealyne to decide your future" The blonde dude speaks again.

"What are you blabbering?" I ask them .

"This is no joke Avril . Please don't take this lightly we are telling the truth if you don't believe us we will put a mark on your hand so when you return home you can see that , all this did indeed happen ." My so called aunt tells me

"Okay even if it is true what am I supposed to do ?" I try to reason with them as this will all disappear when i wake up.

"Well deciding which place to go will be up to you . You will know what to do ."the blonde guy speaks again.

Then out of nowhere i feel a little sting on my arm and see down to find a small symbol in graved on my hand like a tattoo . It looks like two fishes one white and black in a peace sign. And just like that it's all dark again.

When i wake up I look around and see everything is in place. I knew it was all a dream or else my room would have trashed right now, but for just the sake of it I check my hand and I see the mark still there of the two fish .

I run out of my room and into the living room, I see my parents seated on the dining table.

"Good Morning honey, you up already?" My dad asks me.

"OKay so you guys won't believe what happened!" I say in rushed and panicked voice. They both turn and look at me with concern.

"Everything okay schatz?" (Sweetheart) , my mom asked.

After telling them the whole situation, Dad had a very serious face whereas mom had started to cry uncontrollably.

"I didn't think this would happen" Dad said looking at mom.

"So all this is true?" I ask shocked , I expected them to send me to therapy.

"Yes schatz unfortunately it is our sad reality." Dad says looking at me with sadness in his eyes.

"And you guys hid this from me all these years !! why?!" Ask in disbelief.

"We never thought they would try to take you away from us , we thought sending us to earth was our punishment but I can see they wanted to take the most precious thing away from us" He says looking at my mom who is still crying.

"Anything else I need to know? Are there more of us ? I mean hybrids?" I ask.

"Only one more we know of but sadly he dies before he even reached 18 in an drowning incident ." He tells me.

"Okay so what do I do know ? She said I have to choose between the two realms , I mean how do I even do that?"

"You need to think about and imagine the realm as you sleep and you will be transported there." He said.

"But how can I , I haven't seen Nealyne yet." I say.

"Trust me darling you will know" Finally mom speaks after crying for so long.

"Alright, But I want to spend with you guys and Liv. " I say feeling suddenly very sad and lonely.

"Alright call her but b careful Avril you can't say anything about realms to Liv, her life will be danger over wise." Mom says trying to sound as strong as she can.

"Alright " I say heading to my room in silence , ALL I need right now is to hug my pillow and some time with my best friend and my family.

The days goes by fairly quickly I just enjoy the day with them and as night falls my heart begins to beat drastically fast dreading what is to happen in the next 6 months of my life.

As I lie in bed mom and dad sit on chairs besides my bed. I hug them say my goodbyes and lay down. They told me I can visit Earth anytime I want just can't stay for more than 3 days very month.

As my thought drift to Aerodyne , I start wondering what Nealyne would look like , as soon as I start thinking of Nealyne I see darkness enveloping me.
