9: A storm of emotions

-Tom's pov-
'Why are they here!', Edd stared at Tord, 'shouldn't they be at home?!'. I started to freak out a little, my thoughts and emotions raced about. I couldn't let them see me like this, I stood up and began to run off, hiding my monster features as best as I could. "TOM!, wait!" I heard Tord call out, I didn't turn back I just kept running. I could feel myself changing a little more than usual.  I knew I couldn't do anything so I just accepted it as I went full monster.

-Tord's pov-
"TOM!, wait!" I called out to him but I received no answer. I cover my head feeling rage at Edd, I keep it in "Why are you here?" I asked Edd a hint of anger in my voice. He seems shocked, "i-i.. you weren't telling us anything s-so we decided to follow you," he says as I stand up. "what am I going to now... who know's what he's gonna do now" to mumble to myself hitting the tree. they seem to have heard me, "I'm sorry Tord," Edd apologizes, "i-i was worried and-".i stop listening to him, I just turn and walk off in the direction Tom went. Matt turns to follow me but I just growl at him "Go home," and walk off. 'don't worry Tom I'm coming' 

I start running as it begins to rain, I had to find Tom. I started calling out to him still not receiving any reply's, I noticed a piece of his hoodie hanging off a tree and I stop to catch my breath. 'let's hope he didn't go full' i think to myself before continuing onwards, I don't want to losse him. Up ahead I notice a small cave "maybe he went in here" I say to myself walking inside like any normal person would do. I look around, it's dark apart from the light shining in."Tom?, you there?" I hear a growl and look around to see a large outline of what looks like a one-eyed, dark purple monster. "T-tom is that you?" I ask, the monster looks away Whining a little. I walk over and sit next to what I think is Tom, his tail twitches a little. "Tom, they're not here it's just me," I say to him, he looks back at me. "are you ok?" I ask leaning on him. Tom only makes weird growling noises which I guess is him trying to talk, I hug him and close my eyes "You know I can't understand you right?".He mumbles something and i chuckle, He feels like he's shrinking in my arms for a moment. I suddenly feel something warm hug me. I open my eyes to see Tom in his half-monster from hugging me back. His hoodie is torn and there's a scratch on his check, I sigh with relief at him being ok, suddenly feeling tired I burry my face into his chest. "I thought I'd lost for a moment there" I say holding him tighter. I hear him chuckle a little "..I-i honestly didn't expect edd and Matt to show up.. did they see m-". "-I don't think they did, they would've said something about you looking werid.." I cut in. After a while I finally talk again, "..did you Wana head back?". He Shakes his head his tail curling around the two of us "I can't face them just yet, it's raining anyways" he says. I chuckle, laying on him sleeply, "Allright" I yawn. He lays against the wall also feeling tired "night tord.." he says. "Night Tom.. I say closing my eyes and letting the darkness settle in. 'What a day that was'
