21: Accidents Happen

-Tom's pov-
Here is am, sitting on the sofa flicking through the channels on tv and looking for something good to pop up. Why you ask? Because tord fell asleep again shortly after edd, eveyln and Matt left, as for where he is.. welllll. He may or may not be laying on the floor... aw come on i needed space on the sofa, where was I supposed to put him?.. oh yeah right, probably into our bed.

Did I mention that Tord's room, or well my old room has been fixed? We gave it to tord even though he insisted on letting Eveyln have it. I dont get why he let her stay anyways, hes not the type to be nice to people. Anyhow I better move him before anyone notices him, they'll think he's dead or something.. trust me it's happened before. And that did not end well, let's just say that drunk me + cops don't mix well.

Anyways back to reality, I stand up groaning slightly now because I'm feeling lazy. At first I questioned how the hell I was supposed to move this commie. I tried waking him up, then when that didn't work I tried dragging, but that didn't work etheir, graaahhhh why is this so difficult! Maybe I should just pick him up, yeah that seems like a logical answer. I ended up picking up the devil-horned male in the red hoodie in bridal style and carrying him to his room, I lay him down in the bed before starting at him for a few minutes. I then realised my tail was now out, how did I not notice this before? Man times have changed. I lifted the blankets over him gently, admiring the fact that he wasn't awake. thank God I don't have to put up with him teasing me about my ears and tail... let's just say it can get pretty anyoing from time to time. The thought of cuddling up with him in the bed crosses my arms, I hesitate to leave before deciding to let him rest. Just as I go to rest in feel something hold me down, I glance back only to see Tord hugging my arm in his sleep. I sigh, well there's gods way of telling me what to do.

-Edd's pov (oooo here we go)-

It wasn't as busy as I suspected out in town, it was pretty snowy but I didn't think that'd stop people from going out and enjoying the outdoors before everything went terrible again. I glance over too Matt as we wall through the city streets, he seems more intrigued by the snow laying about on the ground than his own reflection. "You ok?" I ask, He looks up at me and puts on a happy face, "oh yeah I was just thinking about how lovely it is today". I frowned at Him in a comforting way as he looked back down, he may seem happy but I can see through the gingers mask, something's up with him. "He's upset about something, isn't he" I flinch at Evelyn's voice next to me, I glance over to see her looking at matt, a cold look placed across her face. I'm not sure if she's faking it or not but she seems pretty emotionless for someone like her, she's only around 16 or 17 afterall, I think.. And we're all in our 20's. "I'm familiar with masks" she explains "I wear one almost every single moment of my life, you'll be dead before you see me cry" I give her a confused but sympathetic look. What kinda stuff would lead someone to the measures of hiding themselves like that, it'll kinda reminds me of how Tom used to act before he dissapeared for a while, I'm glad he showed up a few months later though. I don't know what I'd do without him, tord and matt. They're like family to me.

Anyways I then realised that we were finally at the grocery store, thank God for that, it was starting to get chilly out here. We entered the store, stopping at the front so Matt could buy himself a treat for 'later', I don't think he realises that me or Tord will probably steal it when we get home. As we walked into the fruit section, I noticed Eveyln staring at a coconut, Matt reluctantly went over to the coconut and proceeded to pick it up before bobbling it about saying many Tom quotes. This caused us to crack up laughing, except for Eveyln who simply smiled at our joy. After we'd calmed down Matt through the coconut in the basket so we could tease Tom about it later, I managed to read something on the coconuts label aloud. "Did you know that coconuts can float on water?" I said, I noticed Eveyln flinch at the word water, I looked at her cheerfully before fading to a comforting look. She grapes hold of her right arm and proceeded to walk ahead of me and the basket, "thats strange" I thought to myself before shrugging and following after my companions.
