Moving day

Gabriel's POV

"Gabe hurry up we need to put the boxes in the truck!" My mom and dad said."OK mom I'll be there in a minute!". As I packed the last thing to the last box I closed the box and stared at my room for the last time. Honestly I was kind of sad that I will be leaving my house but I couldn't stay. Couldn't shake the idea from mom and dad's head. I looked at the floor then the ceiling then I felt a vibration in my jeans I took it out and it read 'Matty' I smiled."Hey Matty" I said "I told you not to call me Matty OK" "OK I'm sorry Matty" "I hate you Gabe" "But you love me" I said. "So are you ready" he said "Yeah" I said "I can't believe you are moving to jersey I haven't seen in three years man I miss you" he said "Yeah same here", and out of nowhere my dad and my big sister Angie came running into my room and said "Gabriel what are doing we have to go come on?!" They said in union, I said "OK OK" Matty said "I can't wait to see-" I cut him off "Matty gotta go see you ok" he said "ok bye Gabe see you". I hanged up the phone and put in in my pocket and picked up the boxes and left. I put my boxes in the truck got in and drove off, I ended up falling asleep,and i knew weren't in new York anymore. My mom said " Hey sweetie do you want something to eat or drink we bought McDonald's?" I said "yeah thanks mom" she handed me the food and started to eat. Once I was finish I started listening to some music. About an hour later we came to a stop and Angie tapped me and said "We are here doofus" I looked out the window and my mouth was stuck open from how beautiful it was I 'awwed' at it. My dad yelled from outside and said "Gabe can you help me please" I got out the car and went to help about an l hour later all the boxes were in the house. I took my boxes to my room my bed and desk was there already. This room was bigger than the one in the old house. I put down boxes Checked my phone for the time it said '4:39'. I started to unpack and by nine I was done. I went downstairs and checked everything was almost done but some other things were still packed. I saw Angie sleeping on the couch. I went in the kitchen and saw my dad lift my mom up and help her put some plates in cabinet and put her back down."Um mom are you cooking tonight?" She said "sorry honey but I'm ordering some Chinese want do you want?" I said "chicken broccoli with white rice".I was in my room and Angie called to say the food was here I went down and ate. After that told my mom,dad and Angie that my taking a shower and going to sleep, as I was going up the stairs my parents said in union "Gabe don't forget you have your first day the school tomorrow!" shit I forgot "OK". When I got in the shower I started to think 'great I'm the new kid but the best thing Matty goes there Matty was my best friend ever since I can remember he was like a brother to me and I couldn't wait to see him it gave relief that we are going to the same school again. I got out the shower put on my. PJs and lied down and thought hopefully 'Hopefully this is going to be a good school year'
