"I saw those short entries you made in your journal," he said as he placed his coffee cup on the table before dropping himself into the couch next to her.
"You went through that horrible, late night, emotional entries?" she questioned him in embarrassment.
"I found them really great, true and what's important is that I managed to see what you see of me," he replied, softly elbowing her.
"I regret the fact that I let you read whatever I write. Should have kept my writing passion a secret," sighing as she lifted her legs up and sat with legs crossed on the couch.
"Silly, don't think so. Like I love your writing and it's one of the traits of yours that made me fall for you.
"Iridescent," softly she said, close to being inaudible.
"What's up with iridescent?" he inquired as he side hugged her.
"You're iridescent, blooming with colour and shining with different tones from all the sides I've seen you from."
"I'm only iridescent when you're the one seeing me."

I'm not really sure who read this until the end because it took me quite a few months to come back to this and finish this. Plus, I'm not really sure if people would read something that is not k-pop related that's coming from me.
But to the ones who have read this short story, thank you for reading! I really had fun writing this. It might not be much different from my usual style of writing but I really wanted to challenge myself to write something that isn't k-pop related.
And I love the idea of writing very humane, emotional details of humans, so this was a good experience in writing.
Again, thank you for those who read this!
Love,
- Lily
