Chapter 1: Back to Being Wicked?

Scarlett's POV

"Let's give Auradon a taste of evil." Mal said as Evie, Jay, Carlos and I stood surrounded around a cauldron filled with apples. Evie stirred them as I held up my spell book, "Wicked ways beneath the skin" I began, "Let all who taste it, now join in" I finished with an evil laugh as my friends joined me before we started spreading around our poisoned apples. (Song Below)

I was snapped out of my day dream by the flashes of cameras and the yelling of my name coming from the reporters and paparazzi that I was now surrounded by and sadly this was not a new thing for me. It has happened almost every day since I choose to become good with my friends 6 months ago at Ben's Coronation.

"Only 3 more days till the cotillion." One woman reminded me. I internally started freaking out it and it feels like my chest is closing up and it starts to get to be hard to breath.

"Ever think that a girl like you would ever be a Lady of the Court?" One lady asked me. 'No I didn't' I thought.

"How does it feel like being the most envied girl in all of Auradon?"

"Do you like being a blonde? Do you miss your claws?"

"Is your mother still a lizard?"

I saw Ben walking my way while eating an apple and he must have seen how overwhelmed I was because he broke through the crowd of people surrounding me "Ok. Alright. Excuse me!" and came and stood by my side. "Are you Ok?" He whispers gently into my ear as he pulls me into a hug. I nod my head and then the reporters start firing even more questions than before "Alright! We are done here! We will let you know if or when that particular event changes." Ben tells all of the reporter answering the question about my mother. I smiled at him in thanks and snuggled under his arm.

"Did you ever think that you would ever be with two different villain's kid." Another woman asked and it made me kind of sad that people still think of me as some villains kid and it also makes me think about how Ben was supposed to end up with some good princess and not a villains kid who just recently turned good.

Ben chuckled but I could tell that it was humorlessly, "We're done here."

Everybody then started to complain until Fairy Godmother came to our rescue and sushed all of them, "This is still a school, so you're either trespassing or skipping." Everyone started to complain again but FG just sent them all a look and they all got the message and left. We turned to FG and thanked here. "Scarlett. Ben." She greeted us.

"Fairy Godmother." We said back. Then she left leaving me and Ben alone for a change. You see me and Ben haven't had much time to ourselves lately, since Ben is the new crowned King and had all of his kingly duties and me with preparing to become a Lady of the Court.

"I sighed in relief that all the reporter have left and Ben chuckled, "Don't pay attention to them."

"That's a lot easier said than done." I replied laughing a little.

"I know, maybe we should do something. You know, like get away." Ben suggested.

I nodded quickly with a smile, "Yeah we should."

Ben then suddenly got a look of realization on his face and checked his watch. "Actually I have a council meeting, and I'm so late."

I nodded again, "That's okay."

"We'll do it some other time " Ben said. He leant down and just before our lips could meet for the first time somebody grabbed my arm and pulled me away from Ben.

I turned around to see a frantic looking Evie. "If we don't do a fitting for your gown right this second, you'll be dancing in your bathrobe, okay?" She said really quickly before she looked behind me and finally noticing Ben. "Oh, Hi Ben." She greeted him and he nodded in return. "Alright. Let's go." And with that she started dragging me away.

"Bye Ben." I said as Evie continued to drag me away, "Bye" I faintly heard him reply before he was completely out of sight.
