I was now in my dorm room with Evie currently tailoring the dress that I was getting fitted for the upcoming cotillion and Mal in the corner of the room watching everything go down trying not to laugh at my face as Evie continues to poke and prod at the dress. Just as I was about to snap at Mal, Evie straightened my arms and tightened the dress really tightly. "Ah! Evie, I can't breath."

Evie came up from behind me and gave me an annoyed looked and lifted my arm back up, "You can breathe after the cotillion."
"I sincerely doubt that. I have at least twenty more events after this and I can't even remember a single one." I tell her chuckling humorlessly.
Evie scoffed and kissed her fingers, staring up at the dress in awe and amazement. "Impeccable. Mal, what do you think?"
"It's beautiful." Mal tells me sending me a little smile. Mal is the only one who really knows how overwhelmed I am about everything. Ever since the Coronation Mal and I have become really close and it's almost like we've been sisters are whole lives, well I mean we have but now she actually knows that we are sisters. But sadly she doesn't feel the same way as me and loves it here in Auradon especially now that she and Jay can actually show their feeling for each other. Carlos has Dude and Jane even though he is still to shy and awkward to actually talk to the girl. Jay has Mal and Fencing, and last but not least Evie. She has Doug and she also has her fashion that is working out really well for her.
"You didn't even really look at it." Evie told Mal.
"Evie, you're a miracle worker. I don't even need to look at the dress to know that it's perfect." Mal told Evie in return and a giant smile formed itself on Evie's face.
I rolled my eyes and glanced over at one of my old leather jackets that I wore when we first came here to Auradon and get flashbacks from my old life back on the Isle and I start to really understand how homesick I have been. "Evie, do you ever wonder what we would be doing on the Isle right now?" I asked looking over at Evie hopefully.
Evie chuckled, "That's funny."
I was about to reply before I was interrupted by music playing from the TV. "Look who's on TV." Mal said and I looked up to see me and Ben up on the TV.
"As the royal couple continue with their tour of the kingdom, they dine with Aladdin and Jasmine." The news woman says.
It was really awkward because I can be seen in the background spitting some of the food out into a napkin with a disgusted look on my face. "Six months ago, no one would think that Ben and his girlfriend from the wrong side of the bride would last..."
"Yeah, no kidding." I interrupted the woman biting my nails.
"Scarlett must be counting down the days until the royal cotillion where she will be crowned Lady of the Court." The woman finished.
I gasped and ran over to the other side of the bed, and grabbed my planner that had all of the events that I had coming up and also my spell book. I flipped through the pages until I found the 'Lightning reading' spell. "Read it fast at lightning speed, remember everything I need" I casted, then wave my fingers above the book and started reading all the event and rules in my planner with super speed.
"I know Scarlett's secret to fitting in and I know Ben wouldn't like it one bit." Evie said when she saw me using my spell book. "Haven't you guys had enough secrets between the two of you already."
"Evie, you know what I was like before I started using my spellbook. I mean, I was a complete disaster." I respond.
"Well personally as your best friend, I strongly believe that this spell book," Evie says as she takes my book from out of my hands while I try to reach out and grab it. "Belongs with my mirror and Mal's spell book in the museum." She tells me while I give her my pouty face with my puppy dog eyes trying to get her to give me my book back. "Don't give me the face. Put the pout away. You know I'm right." She finished standing up straight and standing at the foot of the bed.
"You don't ever miss running around and breaking all the rules." I say looking between Mal and Evie hopefully.
"Like stealing, lying and fighting?" Evie asks me.
"Yeah!" I say enthusiastically.
"No!" Evie says as if the idea is ridiculous.
"What?" I say.
Evie lets out a little laugh, "Why would we? Scar, come here." Evie says walking over and grabbing my hands and pulling me to my feet. "Look at where we are. Auradon. Were Auradon girl's now." Evie said showing me the Tv that was showing me and Ben having dinner under the stars, while Ben was feeding me a strawberry.
"Since Scarlett revealed her love of strawberries, she has received hundreds of cartons sent to her by a secret admirer." The news lady said.
Evie and Mal squealed, while I had the same look plastered onto my face. "See this is the land of opportunity. We can be whatever we wanna be." Mal says.
"So please let's just leave the past in the past, okay?" Evie adds in a whisper and I just looked down. "Besides, look at these shoes." Evie adds all happy again holding up my high heels that go along with the dress that I'm currently wearing. "Look at them!" She says all enthusiastically, admiring the shoes she made.
"Sever." I replied I a monotone voice but Evie doesn't catched it and her and Mal laugh.
