Chapter 10: Ben Gets Taken!

3rd Person POV

Jay, Evie and Carlos looked up as they heard Ben coming down the stairs, "So----Where's Scar?" Evie asked Ben looking behind him for Scarlett.

"She's not coming back." Ben told them before walking away.

"What?" Mal asked incredulously. "I'll talk to her." Mal then walked over to stand under the window off the hideout and started talking, "Scar. Scarlett it's Mal. Let me just talk to you for a second." There was no reply. "Scar, come on." Mal begged.

The VK's waited a second before a frustrated Scarlett stuck her head out of the window "Go away!" Scarlett shouted down to them. The VK's all looked at Scarlett and saw that she had her old hair back. Before they could say anything Scarlett was gone and the window was shut.

Mal sighed frustrated before Jay put his hand on her shoulder, "Let's give her a couple of hours to cool off."

"Guys!" Carlos shouted worriedly, making his friends look over at him to see him looking down the alley Ben just walked down. But there was no Ben to be seen. "Where's Ben?"

Mal, Evie, and Jay looked at each other worriedly. "Ben," Evie called out. "Ben!" The group was about to freak out before they saw a silhouette of someone walking towards them with their head down. "Ben don't scare us like that." Evie scolded the silhouette, while Jay, Mal and Carlos all sighed out in relief.

"Don't scare you." A voice that definitely was not Ben's answered Evie back. The person finally looked up at the VK's to show the face of the one and only Harry Hook. The VK's looked back at him worriedly as he continued, "That's my specialty."

"Harry." Mal sighed, knowing the past relationship Harry and Scarlett had and knowing that Harry worked for Uma her old nemesis.

"What did you do with Ben?" Jay asked/demanded.

"Oh!" Harry said gleefully looking back down the alleyway, "We nicked him. Yeah, and if you want to see him again have Scarlett and Mal come to the Chip shop tonight alone. Uma wants a little visit." Harry looked at them all before stopping at Jay with a mocking pout, "Ah, Jay. Seems like you lost your touch." Harry told Jay with a smile.

Jay started to go at him but Evie and Mal stopped him with a hand on each of Jay's shoulders. "Jay." Mal and Evie spoke in sync. Harry just watched them with a gleeful chuckle. While Carlos looked at Harry as is he was crazy. In retaliate to the look Harry just barked at him like a dog knowing about his old fear with a grin before walking away while waving happily. Jay watched him go for about a second before climbing up to the window to talked to Scarlett with Mal, Carlos and Evie right behind him.

Scarlett's POV

"What do you mean he was taken!" I shouted to my sister and best friends. It wasn't even ten minutes ago I was standing in this same spot talking to Ben and now I'm screaming at my friends because they just told me that he was captured by Uma, her pirate crew and my ex boyfriend. Also to make this worse Uma wants to talk to me and Mal at her mother's Fish and Chip shop; Uma is the daughter of Ursula. "If you guys would of never brought him here, none of this would be happening. What were you thinking!?" I screamed.

"He was going to come no matter what we said. We just wanted to protect him." Mal told me as if that made everything okay.

"Yeah and we completely blew it." Carlos threw in helpfully. Note the sarcasm.

"Okay!" Jay shouted getting all of us to shut up and look at him. "Okay. So what are we gonna do?"

"You three--Jay, Evie and Carlos--are not going to do anything. We--me and Mal--are going to go down to that little witches shop and get Ben back, then you're all going to leave and go back to Auradon." I firmly told them walking over to the stairs getting ready to leave.

"Woah, woah, woah." Carlos stopped me. "Your still going to have to go through Harry Hook and his wharf rats."

"Yeah, you're gonna need us." Jay added.

"Uma just wants me and Mal, so me and Mal is who she is going to get. You guys stay here." I firmly told them.

"Scar, come on." Evie told me agreeing with Jay.

"She's right. Harry did just say them, I know one thing I'm not going anywhere." Carlos told us sitting down on my bed.

Jay sighed, "We'll be here when you get back."

"Come on, Scar." Mal said gaining my attention motioning to the stairs.

"Don't touch anything." I sternly told Evie, Carlos and Jay before leaving the room with Mal.
