Chapter 26: Plan
It's winter... The season makes the surrounding so alive especially because Christmas is coming. It was a cold day while this whole week I was busy working at our company.
Today wasn't a simple day for me. It was kinda complex since my mind was about to explode from thinking such things.
The appointments of every meeting I have to attend, the shooting, the collaboration after the shoot, then Levi's birthday.
I was planning on something that he will appreciate at least but he's not that kind of person who likes to come up with surprises, though.
But how? I can't think of a good idea.
I turned my seat to the large windows to see the big city lights that shone through the darkness of the night while tapping my pen on the armrest. What should I do?
I was in the middle of solving my little problem when my phone rang. I turned my seat to the table and saw my phone screen reads Hanji.
I immediately picked up the call.
"Hey? What's up?" I asked, leaning my back to the computer seat.
"Well, (y/n), have you ever wonder about having a surprise party for our little shorty??" Hanji asked as if already pleasing me to agree.
"Oh my, you're the solution to my problem." then I smiled. "Well, I did thought of it lately. But I don't think surprising him would be a great idea."
"Aww, but I was planning for a beach party."
"A what?"
"We're going to beach this week! The whole Flugel der Freiheit, Nanaba, Erwin and You of course!" Hanji exclaimed excitedly.
"Are you sure about that?"
"I am!"

So yeah, as what was already planned. It happened. Today was our depart action to beach. We have a flight to Hawaii since it's winter here, there's no way were gonna swim in the middle of snow.
Levi was against in the first place but because all of us were coming and everything was already set up, he had no choice.
He also have no idea that this was for his birthday celebration and we prepared a little surprise.
Well... Just a little surprise, guys... Okay? Maybe he'll appreciate that for a bit, I guess?
I was in my room finishing my hair when I heard Hanji calling outside my house until her voice came nearer and nearer then slammed my door revealing her wearing winter clothes with her signature ankle boots. Her hair is kept tied into ponytail as usual.
"(Y/n)! Let's go!" she was about to drag me when I stopped her.
"Hey, keep it cool," I frowned. "You're way too excited. Wait for me outside. I'll go down in minute."
"Okay, but..." Hanji twitched her brows. "Are you... alright? (r/n)?"
I looked up to her, she noticed me that fast?
"No, I'm fine." I smiled but if faded suddenly. "I was just... worried? I mean- what if all of our efforts for these will fail? And everything will be in vain? What if Levi would never appre-"
Hanji stopped me by putting her index finged in front of my lips.
"Sshh. (Y/n) stop thinking of negative things, okay? And I know that Levi would be probably glad if he knew that you helped for this." Hanji smiled. "Actually, I haven't told you that Levi wasn't usually celebrating his birthday, it's actually been years after all of us celebrated his birthday together with... *cough* uhmm Petra. But after that, even if we insist on doing, he never agrees."
