Chapter 30: At The Back Of The Ackermans
The planned brunch was a success, they all questioned us about what took us a couple of hours to miss the beach bond.
Worst of the topics we've talked about was about them suspecting us doing such perverted things that we forgot about them! That's just-! Ugh, never gonna happen.
Or so I thought...?
Anyway, get over that thing or else.
It was already evening, Hanji, Nanaba and I we're here in a hot spring as well as the boys in their section.
Only the three of us were here so we have the freedom of speech to talk about randomness.
"So, (y/n). Would you finally tell us what really happened?" Nanaba spoke up. "I mean, we let you two slip over the conversation lately. We all know you were lying."
I raised an eyebrow.
That really means they're not buying it? Shit, I'm so pathetic, I think I'm the one who's fooled.
"Yeah, I intrigued if there's any Levi babies growing over here~" Hanji poked my abdomen under the water that become the reason I flushed red.
"You guys really got the wrong idea!" I shooked my head in disbelief. "We would never do things like that!"
"Really? But I thought you were a couple." Hanji sarcastically frowned.
"Let me clear you," I coughed. "It's Fake Couple."
"That hurts." Nanaba mumbled and jests.
I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"Then mind explaining the truth?" Hanji asked, intrigued.
"I do really wanted," I lowered my level to the water so that only my head is visible. "So that this'll will be enough for you guys to keep on bugging us about it."
I told them what actually happened, explained why, said all of the vital information to and clarified every single detail or they'll keep on teasing me about this.
"And there's no big deal." I ended.
"What are you talking about?!" Hanji exclaims. "It was super duper mega splendid rare for a LEVI ACKERMAN to do that!!"
I know. She was as exaggerated as what I expected from the begginning. Hanji was referring to the scenario on which he did my hair.
Nanaba sa just giving me a smug smirk and listening.
"I said it was just nothing." Sigh. "Can you calm down?"
"But-!" Hanji applied force to the water that caused it to splash over our faces. "It was a big big deal! (R/n) you would not know how lucky you were!"
"Hanji, it's just.... a simple thing he did," I sighed. "I... I just don't like the idea of assuming it was something special because what if it was just nothing to him? Then I don't want to be hurt at the end... and besides, it's just a simple thing."
I tried to relax myself by massaging my palms underwater but it's useless due to the paranoia that I felt.
"Hanji, (y/n) was right. At least she knows where her limits are." Nanaba stated in agreement and turned to me. "But I always thought that it wasn't impossible for Levi to feel emotions again. I suspect that there is one possible reason he did that. Well, come think of it, Levi maybe felt an urge to feel again because you made him...or it's also because he wants to see you smile... and whenever you did, it makes him... happy? Right?"
