As the pain grew and grew I, without control over myself, clawed Hollyleaf and began to try to run put of camp. The more I ran the more I realized that can't go back. For if I do... Hollyleaf will not be pleased. I had come to the conclusion that I won't return back to camp. I can't.
"J-jayfeather? Is that you...?" I heard a she-cats voice say nearby.
"Whos there?" I called out curiously and in a bit of fear plus pain.
"Jayfeather... Its me...-" the familier voice was closer next to me. "-Halfmoon." She said as she sat beside me.
'Halfmoon? Why is she here?' I wondered curiously.
"W- Ow! Eh! W-why are y-you here?" I asked as a sharp pain began to grow.
"Jayfeather!? Are you okay!?" She yelled in a concerning voice.
"Y-yes. I-im fi-fine." I said as I lye down.
"Jay? What happened?" She asked as she started licking my wound. Why though?
"Holyleaf... I think she was using her claws and digging them into my side. It hurts..." I said, while laying down, tears coming out of my eyes from how bad the pain was.
Halfmoon's POV
'Holyleaf? But... she's his sister...' "O-oh...?" I said basically in question.
"Yea..." He said. I could tell he didn't want to say much.
"Listen...Halfmoon?" He said, lifting his head and turning towards me. "I...I'm leaving Thunderclan..." As the 4 words came out of the blind cats mouth, I felt myself cry, yet without making a sound whimpering or sobbing.
"J-jayfeather? What? No! Why would you leave Thunderclan?! Are you insane!?" I yelled uncontrollably. As I yelled out all those things to this gray cat, I saw that he felt hurt, full of it. Both physically and emotionally.
"do you even know why I'm leaving?!" He yelled back. "Because holyleaf will kill me if I go back!" He yelled as he ran off into the cold night air.
"But... I don't want to lose the only cat I ever truly loved..." I whispered quietly to myself and slowly walked back to camp, crying. I was afraid... Afraid of where he'll go... I just hope he doesn't get hurt... 'Stay safe, jayfeather... Stay safe...' I thought.
