Halfmoon's POV

    I was extremely worried about jayfeather. Not only is he blind and he could get lost.... I can't lose him... I began to him a sweet and calming tune, but it was useless... I was still in the worry zone. As I finally managed to get to camp, I saw Graystripe approach me.

"Halfmoon! Where have you been?" His voice sounded afraid, worried and angry.

"Me? U-uh I waasss... Just taking a walk...?" I couldn't tell him what I was really doing, because then he Would start worrying about jay, which I'm surprised that he hasn't realized he's gone yet.

He sighed, "Ok, well Firestar wants to see you."

"Why didn't Brambleclaw tell me this? He's deputy."

"He's busy right now... Now go, firestar is waiting!" He spat at me, and I padded to firestar's den.

"Yes Firestar? You wanted to see me?" I asked politely as I entered the den.

"Correct, Halfmoon. Come in." He said, while we both sat down,him in front of me.

"Is everything okay, Firestar?" I asked him.

"Well.... Um, Halfmoon?"

"Yyeess...?" I said unsurly.

Firestar POV.
"There's something about Jayfeather I must tell you." Her eyes lit up at my words...

She nodded at me.

"He's not allowed back into camp." I felt bad as to tell her this, but as leader I must do what I must.

Her eyes bagan to tear up, and she finally spoke, "w-what...? Why? Why are you telling me this... Me?"

"Halfmoon... I know that you have strong feelings for young Jayfeather, which is why I told you. Because I knew you would worry if you began to see that he wasn't here, or hasn't been here lately." I told her as I was sitting up straight. I could feel my heart hurting a lot, I hate to hurt Halfmoon... But it had to be done.

"Bu-but... Firestar? You s-still haven't t-told me w-why h-he has to go..." She stuttered in her words.

"I'm am not allowed to speak of the reason to you, Halfmoon. I'm sorry." And with that, she bowed her head to me as she left my den.

Halfmoon POV.

But why him...? What did he do so wrongly to have to lead thunderclan? Or did he want to leave? Did he tell firestar that he was leaving, but to tell others that he was not allowed back...? Oh Jayfeather... Please come back... I miss you...
