3.) On and On

"Unni can I sleep with you?" she asked. I nodded and scooped her up. "But first you need a bath. We got school tomorrow." I sighed. "Mom would freak if she how dirty you was." I smiled trying to make her feel better. She laughed and hugged me.

I carried her upstairs to the bathroom and ran her bath water. "Alright. I'll be right outside the door." I told her. "Okay!" She said. I closed the door and let her bath. I pulled out my phone and dialed Hana's number. After a couple rings, she finally picked up.

Hana-What's up?

Soo Mi- Mom's missing. I don't know what happened. I came home and Chanmi said a group of guys broke in and kidnapped her. Luckily they didn't take Chanmi.

Hana-Oh my god are you serious?? Are you all alright. Soo Mi! Did you call the law??

Soo Mi- Were alright but mom's gone. The law came by and checked the house just in case their still here. I feel like I need to cry but I can't.

Hana- Oh my god. I'm so sorry I don't know what to say.

Soo Mi-I have to go. Chanmi is taking a bath. I'll see you at school tomorrow.

I set my phone in my pocket and went to check on Chanmi. I knocked on the door and waited for her response. "Don't come in here!" She squealed. "I'm not. I'm just checking in. Hurry up it's almost 9:30." I told her. I walked into mom's bedroom and fixed the bed for both of us to sleep in.

I don't think it's right to leave my little sister alone. She'll most likely have nightmares tonight. "Unni!" She hollered. "Coming!" I walked to the bathroom and opened the door. She had the towel wrapped around her body as the water dripped from her hair. "Let me get your clothes." I told her.

I quickly walk to her bedroom and grab a pair of panties and Pjs for her. I walked back to the bathroom and set down her clothes. "Want me to help or are you okay?" I asked. "I'm a big girl I can do it myself." She said proudly. I laughed and nodded.

I walked into the hallway and patiently waited for her to dress herself. She walked out of the bathroom and grabbed onto my arm. "I'm done." She smiled. "Okay. Let me dry your hair before we go to bed. You'll get sick if you don't." I smiled. She sat on the toilet as I plugged in the hair dryer.

I began drying her hair as I softly brushed it. After 10 minutes her hair was finally done. "Okay. Bedtime. Let me change first." I told her. She walked into mom's room and jumped on the bed. I walked into my room that was downstairs and quickly changed into my pj shorts and tank top. I brushed my hair out and walked back upstairs.

"Okay ready?" I asked. She nodded and climbed under the cover. I turned off the light and turned the night light on. I climbed into bed next to Chanmi. "Is mom coming back?" She suddenly asked. I didn't know what to say. I want to say yes but I don't even know that answer. I really hope she is okay. I don't know what I would do without her or my sister.

"Just don't think about it okay? Just get some sleep for now." I slightly smiled even though I was hurting on the inside. She nodded and rolled over. I grabbed the duvet and covered her up fully. I cover myself up and tried to get some sleep.

(3rd POV)

"Boss. We did as you said." He told his leader. "Good..where is she?" The leader asked. "She is in the cell block with the lost souls." He said. "Good. Well done." The leader said crossing his hands. He thought about what to do next. "Just stick to the plan as now. So far everything has gone as planned. Keep up the good work."

(Soo Mi's POV)

*beep* *beep* *beep*

I groan and toss in the bed. I raised my arm up and turned off the alarm. "Chanmi." I said. I rolled over and shook her. "Time to wake up." I shook her again and she finally rolled over. She raised up and rubbed her eyes. "I'll help you get dressed." I told her.
