Faith Pov

After breakfast with Mark all I wanted to do was rest. Sleep was always my bestfriend. But before I could even lay my head down my phone rung.

Hello!? I yelled into the phone

Trying to sleep Kia I rolled my eyes hard as if she could see me through the phone.

Faith it's your birthday the last thing you should be doing is sleeping she said loudly through the phone.

Ok what should I be doing Kia?

Oh that's the real reason you called, for I could be your wing man for tonight huh? This girl was not about ditch me while she go scout for men.

I went into my closet to find something to wear tonight.

I really wasn't in the mood to get all dressy and girly. I felt like being thugged out today. If you know what I mean. I picked out a grey baggy shirt, some grey sweatpants , and my cool grey 11 sneakers with a leather fitted hat to top it off. I was really feeling myself. This was the real me not the dresses I could barely move in and heels that I love looking at but had to concentrate just to walk in. I knew that's what everybody expected and wanted from me though. Fuck it! Im comfortable and cute.

I grabbed my car keys and was ready to roll out. I hopped in my car, turned on some 2pac-I rather be your nigga blasting through my speakers, and sped to Kia house.

20 minutes later I was pulling up to Kia house. She lived in Capital Heights so she wasn't that far from me. I beeped the horn because I was not getting out my car and didn't trust her neighborhood. There's always some bad ass kids out here up to no good.

She put her middle finger up at me and hopped in the car.

What bar we going to? I hated driving without knowing where I'm going.

Phoenix Bar, the one on K street.

We pulled up to Phoenix noticed it was pretty full. It's a Sunday night why the hell is people out? I had to push through people just to get to the bar.

What can I get you pretty ladies, the pretty bartender asked us.

I looked her over and noticed how real beautiful she was. If I swung that way she would be my type. 😏

I would like a dirty martini and 2 shots please.

10 shots later Kia had ditched me for a guy that looked like Miguel. He was pretty average but too feminine for my taste. I wasn't mad at my girl shit get that money and dick on the side. Can't never be too picky I guess.

Anyways I was ready to end my night. I didn't want to be drunk and lonely. That was until I saw mr.yummy again. He looked even better then last time I saw him. This time I was determined to meet him or maybe it was the liquor giving me all this courage.

I strutted over to him and stopped right in front of him. I let my eyes wonder over him. I could tell he was looking me over too.

I guess he was surprised because it took him a second to speak.

He looked at me and just smirked. I was starting to like how this night was going.

Cool cool, happy birthday beautiful. He grabbed my hand and walked me over to a private booth.

For the rest of the night we just
talked. Had real conversations and joked around. We kept each other laughing all night.

I started to get tired it was 2am.

I gave one of the guys I seen him with earlier my keys then we left.

I can't believe I'm leaving with a stranger !! But I feel safe around him. There's something about him. Hopefully I have more time to know what it is.

The ride home was fun. We joked and talked about our lives. I didn't even notice we had pulled up to my place.

Well this is my place. Guess I'll see you later?
It was more a question then a statement.

Yea see you around beautiful, he answered my question without even knowing.

Yes !! I mean cool , I tried to hold my smile in.

He shook his head and smiled.

I put my number in his phone and open my door. Before I stepped out he pulled me into him and kissed me.
The kiss felt like forever. It was soooo good.

I couldn't let you leave without that, he said while smiling.
He had such a cute smile. Everything about him was perfect.

I stepped out the car and walked up the stairs. I looked back to see he was still there. I blew him a kiss then entered my place.

Tonight was the best ever. I was on a super high.

My phone vibrated indicating I had a text.

"Have good dreams tonight beautiful and happy birthday"

I had a permanent smile on my face for the night. He was so sweet.

I got in bed but before I fell asleep I made sure I saved his number.

I saved his number under "Unexpected😳😘😍😍💕" because he was totally unexpected. This was a great birthday gift.
