The worst day of your life is the day you lose all faith in yourself. The day that you do something so terrible that you can't even look at yourself in the mirror. Those events become images in your mind, never to be erased. They define your story and who you are as a person, even after death. Your actions stay with your soul, to be remembered in your next life.

You'd do anything to forget and start over, to change the way things played out. But the reality is, that's not reality. Your choices stick with you no matter how badly you want it to go away. Then the depression and anxiety become more evident. The voices in your head aren't your own. Your personal voice slowly fades away. All that you have left is the memories. The memories of the most horrific events of your life. The things that could have been real become only a dream. All your aspirations become a blurry image, never to be achieved. The voices become dark, reminding you how terrible of a person you've become.

Then the voices become the only thing you hear, no person and no thing is real. Everything you once believed in becomes a lie. The hallucinations become a twisted reality and anything that was once real is now dead in your mind. Your emotions become fake and your smile no longer shows. Your face becomes absent of color, absent of emotion. You stop going places because everything you see reminds you of that one day, the day your whole life changed. The day you made your worst choice.

The only thing you can push yourself to do is listen. Listen to the demonic voices. Watch the haunting memories and hallucinations that play in your head. Fear is no longer something you feel, just numbness. You no longer eat, no sleep for weeks. You become a living ghost. The darkness of your mind overshadows any good that was left.

The monsters in your head become real, right in front of your face. Their touch is the only thing you feel. Their faces are all you see. Their voices are all you hear.

Then one day they tell you that you need to make that same mistake you made again, to never stop. So you listen because your own opinion and choices cease to matter.

The thrill of your disturbing actions become the only thing you feel. Your smile comes back, but it's only sick and hollow. The kill and thrill is all that matters.

The worst day of your life is the day you lose yourself.
