Luck of the Irish

I have finally found an apartment in LA, and it's perfect. It's small, but big enough for me and a few guests. Suzy has been helping me write some songs since I'll be communicating with my band from here. I've been hanging with her and Arin much more than the other grumps lately. I still text and call Dan, but he's been busy writing songs for NSP, his band. Suzy and I have been planning a special evening for about 2 weeks now, and I am excited. Our plan is to do our first pub crawl together on Saint Patrick's Day. I myself am a silly drunk, but 2 drunks will be more interesting. 

Today was the day, though I had a problem. I didn't have very many green things in my wardrobe. I only had a short green dress then ended mid-thigh, or a "kiss me I'm Irish" tee my mom gave me for my 16th birthday. I wasn't sure which to wear, but I ended up wearing the dress with white leggings. The dress was green with white mixed in, it had wavy white stripes throughout. I paired that with brown flats and a green headband. I smiled at myself in the mirror, I needed to look good for our first 'date'. I made sure to eat a light lunch since we wouldn't be eating much until dinner. I texted Suzy that I was heading over to get her, and she tested back, "can't wait <3". I blushed a little.

I walked from my apartment to her place, I was only a few blocks away. I knocked on the door, a smile on my face. She answered, smiling back. Suzy was wearing her hair in a high ponytail, with a white tee with a clover on it, and a green skirt. She also wore white converse. "Ready to get drunk?" I chuckled, and she nodded. "Totally! Then we can go back to your place for the night" she giggled. "Sounds like a plan Suzy, shall me m'lady?" I held out my hand for her to take. She gladly took my hand, and we headed to the first pub of the day.  We met up with Arin and the other halfway through the day, by that point Suzy and I were pretty hammered but were able to function. "Y'know I'm actually part Irish Suzy~" I slurred seductively, a grin on my face. She giggled real cute, "Oh really now? Guess I have to kiss ya" she kissed me on the lips. As the kiss ended, I giggled. We were both blushing, from the booze and the kiss. 

At around 9 pm we ate at a small diner, we were still a bit buzzed but could talk to people normally somehow. Suzy was laughing at almost everything I said, she was drunker than I was. We ate and were merry, then headed back to my apartment. I poured us a few glasses of Champagne, the fizz of the drink made me smile. I handed Suzy her glass and we toasted, downing the drink. By midnight Suzy and I were watching the first Back to the Future Movie, talking a little too loud over the film. " Lizzy, I had a great day" she pecked my cheek, I blushed. "Yeah me too Suzy, our first date was a success" I was so happy. She moved close to me on the couch, kissing me deeply. Our faces turned red as a tomato.

That night we both slept in my queen-sized bed, cuddled into each other as we slept soundly, passed out from the alcohol. I played with her beautiful dark hair, and she purred like a cat in her sleep. I didn't care if I felt like crap in the morning, I was enjoying the moment.
