I sat down on the cold wooden chair next to Soph and Mark and one behind Zach. Everyone surrounding me were either chatting or crying. But, I was silent. Not a single word escaped my mouth. I helped kill a girl. My "girlfriend". I'm a murderer, yet I'm here, at Charl's funeral sat at the back where all her friends are sat. On my left was Mark and a large oak door.
"Hello, thank you for gathering here today," everyone turns towards the priest at the front. Everyone falls silent. Even the birds stopped singing and the wind stopped howling.
"Before I begin this funeral of beloved Charlotte Lavin, her parents and best friend, Melody Brook, have requested me to play this video." The old woman walks over to her projector and computer. Shaking, her hand presses the play button on the side.
