Chapter 10

Alex's POV

It's been a few days since the incident at the dinner happened.

We are all doing fine, today I start school and I am not looking forward to it.

I wake up to Mason jumping on my bed and ripping the covers off me. Once I punched him in the gut and he layed on the ground for a while I decided to get ready.

I chose an outfit to wear since I am starting in the middle of the school year I don't really have to worry about people that much, I'll just hang out with Jordyn. Speaking of the devil my phone starts going off, I look at the caller ID and it's Jordyn.

"Hello?" I say a little confused on why she is calling me.

"Hey so I am coming over to help you get ready since I know you are debating on what to wear and that ish, so yeah I'm on my way and then we can catch the bus to school or something, and look at that I'm outside your door." She says and hangs up, as if on cue my bedroom door flys open and there stands Jordyn.

"Hey how's it going?" She asks.

"Good I guess, how about you?"

"Are we being honest?"

"Yes."

"Then I am actually a little nervous, what do we do in the classes we don't have together?"

"I don't know, but we will figure something out."

"Yeah, knowing our luck we won't get any of the same classes." She mumbles but I can still hear her.

I pretend I didn't here it and she helps me get ready, she does my hair while I finish the makeup.

Once we finish I check the time and we have 5 minutes to get to the bus. I grab my backpack and keep my phone in hand while walking out to the bus stop down the street with Jordyn. When we get there the bus is already there waiting for us, we quickly hop on and find a seat, after saying hi to the bus driver who just smiles and says good morning in return.

"So, how do you think this day will go?" I ask Jordyn.

"I don't know, we are joining at the middle of the school year so everyone will already be in their groups of friends, so yeah we will be alone again." She says.

"At least we have each other!" I say hopeful but a little disappointed about going to school, the reason Jordyn and I became anorexic is because of getting bullied by the kids at school in 8th grade.

Before we knew it kids were getting off the bus and heading in the school, after the bus driver picked up a few kids we arrived at school and now it's time for the moment we have been dreading.

Jordyn and I walk into the school and look around.

"Excuse me where is the office?" Jordyn asks some random guy walking past.

"Oh here I will walk you there. What's your names?" He asks.

"I am Alex, and this is Jordyn." I say pointing as I say our names. Jordyn just smiles and waves.

"Oh nice names, I am Brandon." He says and holds his hand out for us to shake it, we both shake his hand and start walking to the office.

"So are you guys new here? I haven't seen you around." He asks.

"Yeah we just came back here a few days ago, we were gone for a year, but this is where we grew up." I say.

"Are you guys like sisters or something?" He asks confused. Jordyn and I look at each other and say at the same time,

"I wish." And he looks at us in shock.

"You two sure act like sisters." He says which makes jordyn and I laugh a little,

"Yeah I guess we do." We say at the same time again.

"Okay you guys need to stop doing that!" He says which makes us laugh.

"Okay we'll stop." We says at the same time and look at each other.

"Now."

"Now."

"Okay now!"

"Okay on 3 you stop talking."

"1, 2, 3 okay!" We say all of that at the same time and then look at each other not very surprised, this happens often.

"Okay I guess I'll stop." We say at the same time.

"No I stop."

"No I stop!"

"Umm, no I--" We keep saying at the same time until we were so rudely interrupted.

"Okay girls Jordyn you stop and Alex you keep going, and then trade off, you guys are like twins, and me saying that please don't do what you did last time I said something like that!"

"Okay fine we won't, at least we will try." I say, listening to Brandon saying I talk and Jordyn doesn't.

"Okay well anyways, here is the front office, but I got to head to class, good luck and I'll see you at lunch?" He asks.

"Yeah see you then, bye!" I smile and wave when he was leaving just to feel Jordyn punch me on the shoulder.

"Omg you totally like him!" She says doing a little happy dance. I blush a little but quickly hide it.

"I do not, we only just met the guy for goodness sakes!" I say, and head into the office.
