"Students, listen up! There is going to be a new student transferring from England, he will be in some of your classes tomorrow! Make him feel welcomed please." The principal says over the intercom.

I wonder who it is. I'm excited though. My phone buzzes and I pull it out and have it under my desk.

What if it's Kyle? - MY BESTIEE❤❤

Wait, omg I haven't texted him since like the first week we left! I miss him now, thanks! :( ♥ - Me

Sorry girl but what if it is him! - MY BESTIEE❤❤

I doubt it, he would've told me, right?  - Me

I don't know, teacher 5 o'clock bye gurl! - MY BESTIE❤❤

I quickly hide my phone as the teacher walks in the classroom.

"Students, today we are starting a new project!" The teacher says most of the people groan.

"Alex I signed you with Kyle, you will be in charge of showing him around the school and helping him out with the project." The teacher says.

"Who's Kyle?" I ask. My phone lights up and I look down, it's a text from Jordyn.

Told you so - MY BESTIEE❤❤

I turn my phone off and look back at the teacher.

"Kyle is the boy coming from England that will be transferring here." She says.

I hear a lot of the girls having conversations with their friends and hear things like:

I bet he has a really cute accent

I hope he's hot

We better get his number

I roll my eyes.

"Okay so are Kyle and I in all the same classes?" I ask.

"Yes you are." The teacher confirms.

We start on our projects after the teacher assigned all of our partners. I start it alone and then Kyle will come tomorrow. The bell rings around 30 minutes later. I go to my locker and trade out supplies. I start heading to math. I walk in the room and see Brandon.

"Hey." I say and set my things on my desk.

"Hey." He replies.

"What's up?" I ask.

"The sky." He smirks. I roll my eyes.

"So about this English kid, do you know him?" He asks.

"Why would I?" I ask.

"You lived in England and why would they have an announcement about it unless someone knows, they haven't had an announcement about any of the other new kids." He says.

"Fine, yes Jordyn and I know him." I sigh in defeat.

"I knew it!" He cheers.

"Is he hot?" Brandon asks.

"I guess, yeah." I say.

"Ooo gurll get it!" He says and does the motion.

"Gross get in your seat!" I say.

"Yes ma'am." He says and walks to his seat. The late bell rings and the math teacher walks in, and starts talking I kind of just zone out.

The bell rings signaling that it was lunch.
