Seddereps

Walking down the back stairway

And down the gray halls

Posters here and there

Their words meaningless

I cannot escape at all

It cannot change, it will not.

And I’m a height above the rest.

It’s lonely so lonely and morbid

Looking down upon the dead.

Intellect falls and the lonely rise

Unable to see each other for distance.

All we see are problems.

And solutions cannot be achieved.

Because we are the few and the lonely

We cannot cause others to see.

We cannot take away their slavery

Without them crying to be free

We cannot teach them greatness

In their unhappiness and greed.

It’s depressing, so depressing

Knowing without power to do.

And we’re rife with our own conscious

With none but us to help through.

The pities and pettiness

Of the common man here

Beneath our thrones of solitude

The ignorant masses within.

They do not question the way it is

Because so it has always been.
