Chapter 4:A

YOUR CHOICE

a) Stay and wait for Mingyu to leave.

"Hey dude" Mingyu said as he greeted Jungkook. Jungkook invited Mingyu in and I was watching them at the top of the stair case

"Woah, did I interrupt something?" Mingyu sarcastically asked as he saw me. Jungkook and I  looked straight at each other.

"Nah, we were just hanging" Jungkook lied as he sat on the couch in the living room.

Did he just lie?

"Oh okay" Mingyu replied as he sat next to Jungkook. "So what has made you come over?" Jungkook asked him since both of us were wondering.

"I'm just board and I wanted to come and visit you" Mingyu suspiciously said, which confused both of us. " Ok then...Do you wanna drink or something?" Jungkook  asked him, but he just shook his head. "Nah, where are your parents?" He further asked.

Whats this guy up to?

"They're out" Jungkook replied, I could tell he was feeling a bit weird, I was too. "Wanna play a video game?" Jungkook asked to break the silence.

"Okay" Mingyu agreed, I came and sat on the other couch as Jungkook gave me a controller. We started playing Super Mario.

Soon the awkwardness left and was replaced with all of our screams and laughter. We actually had a really good time together.

After some time it was getting late and Mingyu finally decided to go home. As soon as he left Jungkook apologised to me because we weren't able to practise.

"Don't be sorry, you didn't know he was coming anyways" I reassured him. He just nodded in reply.

"I should be heading home now, its a bit late" I said as I got my bag and walked to the door. Jungkook ran up to me and grabbed my arm.

"Do you want a ride? I can drive you"
"Nah, its okay, I pretty sure my house isn't far" I told him. He nodded and let me go.

"Thank you" I lastly said as I waved to him and started walking. I forgot the buses stop after 9:00.

I really should've let him drive me.

While I was aimlessly walking down the street, I was trying to figure out where I was. I didn't realise Jungkook lived so far away.

So that's...Okay then, the main road shou-

I was cut off my thoughts as I was pulled by my wrist and pushed against a lamp post. I shut my eyes and screamed but he put his hand over my mouth.

"Shut up" He snapped at me and I stopped straight away as he removed his hand.

"P-Please I-I've only g-got s-school work" I stuttered as I pathetically pleaded. I looked up to see who it was, but he had a black hoodie on and the light was blinding me.

"Tch, you're still stupid" He mocked me. I looked up and somehow felt less scared.

"Okay like, who actually are you" I asked the stranger and he chuckled before removing his hood and stepping back.

Mingyu?

"Dude, What the hell are you doing?" I asked as I dropped my formality.

"Listen, I know you weren't "just hanging" why were you there?" He demanded an answer.

"Why do you want to know" I snapped back.

"I was gonna visit you because I finished your stupid research and then Jaehyun told me you were going to Jungkook's" He replied. Okay the atmosphere was getting kinda hot.
