Chapter 7:B

YOUR CHOICE

b) Go to Mingyu's place

"U-Um, I don't mind if we go back to your place" I told Mingyu and he nodded. He leaned forward and told the driver his address, he nodded and immediately began driving  to the destination.

The whole ride was silent, I was so shocked at what he told me before. Was he serious? Can I be sure that his love is genuine? I'm not to sure, maybe if he means it then he will act like it when we arrive.

I felt bad thought that I didn't reply to him straight away, although I hope he understands that I'm not sure about my feelings yet and I need to confirm them properly.

"Thank you" H esaid to the driver as he paid him the amount required. He turned to me and gave a slight smile.

"Lets go" He said and I nodded. He walked to his front door and I followed close behind him. As we entered he placed his keys in the benchtop and headed towards his room.

He came out with a towel and some clothes.

"Do you mind if I shower first?" He asked me and J smiled and shock my head. He chuckled a bit and headed straight to his bathroom. While he was gone I began to think and contemplate on whether I should or not. Why should I?

I sat there in silence, staring at the ground. I recalled all the memories I made with him during middle school.

Like the school social.

"Boys, time to choose your partner's, be sure to have the person in your head before choosing" the teachers instructed as all the boys in the hall stood up. A flock of 14 year old youths all flocked towards the most popular girl in school.

Those who missed out just went to her friends. The lucky 5 who were accepted simply linked arms with their partners and headed to the dance floor.

I felt a knot tie in my stomach, I didn't want to not be chosen and look all lonered. I stayed patient and waited, I didn't want to see who chose me, so I looked down and hoped for a good suprise.

"U-uh Miso" I looked up and saw Mingyu with his friend Wonwoo whom I stared at, totally confused.

"Do you wanna dance?" He asked me and a slight smile crept across my face.

"S-sure" I nervously accepted and took his hand that he reached out. I stared at Wonwoo who was helping Hina get up from her seat. I stared at her and couldn't help but smile at her blush.

While we were dancing I kept staring at my feet, making sure I didn't step on his or mess up a step. I followed his lead and went with what I knew. His hand that was rested on my hip made me nervous and I felt myself sweating.

"Make sure to hold your partner correctly in order to lead them boys" the teacher announced. Mingyu didn't hesitate to listen to her words and manoeuvred his hand around my waist and on my lower back.

I let out a small gasp and looked up at him, his stare was intense and I felt as if it was burning right through me. He pulled me in so that we were closer and our cheats were pressed together. My eyes widened and I tried to hide my shocked and shy face by looking to my left.

I heard him chuckle at my act and he continued dancing, moving his feet in the beat of the song and pulling me along with his hand that was on my back. A little while later, he intertwined our fingers.

I felt as if my body was about to melt, I was so young that I never understood all of the feelings. I felt weird. I looked over at Hina, who seemed to be enjoying her dance with Wonwoo, she as happily smiling.

After that we returned to our seats and now girls were required to choose a partner.

"Can you choose Mingyu so I can go with Wonwoo again" Hina asked me. I tried to hide my smile and slightky nodded in response. When I went to go and ask Mingyu, it was as if he already knew I was gonna ask him, since he stood up before I even got to him.

That whole night we danced together and laughed together, I was young at the time that I denied having true feelings for him, it was just a ' one off ' thing.

Our science project.

"Add just a small drop of this acid. Any more or any less will mess up the experiment" The teacher instructed as she showed the class the blue liquid. We all nodded to show our understanding.

"I'll do it" Mingyu said as he reached for the bottle holding the acid. He bent over and looked closely at the beaker that was filled with previously added substances.

"Oops" I heard him whisper and it was obviously sarcastic. I leaned forward and saw his hand tightly squeezing the small bottle causing more than enough liquid to shoot out of it.

"Yah!" I screamed as I snatched the bottle from his tight grip. He stared in excitement while I did in fear as the solution began to slowly react with the added acid.

Suddenly the mixture burst from the container and attacked our faces. Luckily we were wearing safety glasses, but that didn't stop it from getting on our uniform. I stared at Mingyu and could seriously punch him in he face right now. He didn't care, he just stood there and laughed at my reaction.

"Miso and Mingyu, what's going on?" Our teacher walked to us and I just looked at her in awe.

"Ah sorry miss, I added too much" Mingyu replied, he tried to hide his laughter but the teacher saw him.

"Detention for both of you, now clean this up" She told us before walking away.

I glared at Mingyu and he stood there laughing.

Now that I think of it, it was kinda funny, it was the most eventful thing that occured that whole day.

I don't know for sure yet, but I'm thinking of it I need to be sure about this, I need to make sure that this will go well for me.

I was knocked out I my thoughts whe  I heard the bathroom door open and Mingyu walked out, casually dressed and drying his hair. I stop up and walks past him, getting a good scent that radiated off his body. I smiled to myself and quickly closed the bathroom door.

I'll do it but not right now, I will tell him later.

Our assignment is next week, Should I tell him after we present it or before. If I do it before, maybe we'll present better on a happier vibe. But if I do it after then we could add more joy from the one we received of completing our assignment.
