Chapter 11

Emma

Kaden's eyes landed on me and widen as he took me in. I knew Mila and Kaden had history. But knowing it and hearing it from Kaden are totally two different things.

Mila watched me with amused eyes and started walking out of the office brushing my shoulder. What I didn't miss was the first two buttons of her shirt unbuttoned.

Kaden motioned for me to come in. I obeyed and walked in and set his beer and burger on his desk and sat in one of the chairs. The bar had slowed down and Tony allowed me to take an hour break to eat and relax before the night rush. I knew Kaden would be in his office and decided to bring him lunch because it was the least I could do for him. But when that door opened, I immediately regretted my decision.

Kaden sat in his chair and gave me a small smile. "That wasn't what you might think it was."

"It's not any of my business, Kaden. I just wanted to bring you lunch for everything you've done for me so far. I really appreciate it." I started to get up to leave but Kaden stood quickly and grabbed my hand.

"Please, stay. Have you eaten anything yet?"

"Yes, Jack was making shrimp tacos and they were delicious. I was going to bring you some, but Jack said you didn't like shrimp." He smiled and I felt the blush creep onto my cheeks.

He chuckled and grabbed the back of his neck, "Yeah, I'm not a fan of seafood."

"It's too bad, they were very good! Finger licking good!" Oh my god. I literally just quoted the fucking KFC man. I literally wanted to face palm myself. I couldn't look at him. "So, um, what were you up to?"

I look up and he's laughing to himself and sits down. "Well before I was interrupted by Mila, I was working on some paperwork for the some of the businesses that the club owns."

I raise my eyebrow at his choice of words. So, he didn't welcome the interruption from Mila. The relief that washes through me makes me feel so much better. I smile, "What other businesses do you own?"

"Well, the club owns a strip club, pharmacy, and some other businesses that we are just silent partners in." He picked up his burger and took a huge bite. He had the juice from the burger dripping off his lip when he put the burger down. He winked at me as he licked up the juice. The heat already in my cheeks ignited tenfold.

"Interesting. I um, I should get back to work. My break is almost over and the dinner rush is going to start soon." I stood up and walked to the door and felt Kaden do the same.

When I made it to the door, I turned and came face to face with the beautiful blue-eyed man named Kaden. If I wear to pucker my lips they would be touching his. He raised both of his arms and put his hands on either side of my face closing me in. I turned my head to the side and felt him move closer. His nose ran from my chin to the tip of my ear. His breath leaving a hot train that gave me goosebumps.

"You smell so good Emma." I shifted my weight from one foot to the other. "What you walked into wasn't what it seemed."

"Its none of my business Kaden." I whispered.

"But it is. I'm yours. She was trying, but all I could think about was your beautiful soft full lips and your smile. You have me whipped and I am not afraid to admit it." Kaden's lips found their way to my neck.

"We aren't together Kaden." I turn breaking his attack on my neck.

He pulls back and looks me in the eyes, "I want to change that. I know I have been so busy but I want to take you out. On a real date. You aren't used to my world, so I'm going to step out and give you a normal date."

My breath catches and I smile, "I'd like that." I dare myself to move my arms and wrap them around his neck. He's irresistible and smooth. He's everything I want and everything I shouldn't have. But in this moment, I block all that out. I'm healed and no longer holding back.

"Good." That's all he said as his lips met mine. He starts slowly testing the waters to see how far I will allow this to continue. I lean closer, more into him and give him the green light he wants.

Kaden grabs the back of my thighs and lifts me up. My back hits the door as I wrap my legs around his waist. Everything is forgotten. All that matters right now is this heaven this man is serving me with his lips.

His tongue peaks out and caresses my lips and I open for him. He takes advantage and finds my tongue with his. While one arm holds me up, the other roams my body touching and grabbing everywhere. I moan into his mouth. He tastes like pure man and power.

"Kaden!"

The knock and the voice pull us back down to reality and Kaden releases me. His hair is disheveled from the many times my fingers ran through his hair. He smiles down at me clearly impressed with himself. I right my clothes and quickly fix my hair.

Kaden grabbed the tip of my chin and tips it up, "We will continue this later kitten."

All I can manage is a smile and a quick nod. Kaden opens the door and outside is a man that looks like an older version of Kaden. This must be The Chained Misfits President. And from the looks of it, he just caught me making out with his VP.
