OK so i have a few things to say before we get this book started. This first chapter is in someone's point of view, i'm not saying who, although it should be pretty obvious. I have to remind people that this is my own take on the show, and i ask people  not to get mad at me for changing the backstories. Slight trigger warning, i just don't want people getting hurt because they didn't know. I love you guys, and let's get book two started shall we?

I was five when it happened. They left me. All alone. The snow was my only friend, the only thing that wouldn't leave me. My parents, my sister, and my best friend tossed me aside. Only because I couldn't do magic. My mother suggested they take me to an orphanage. My father wasn't having it. I remember it all so clearly. That final time I ever saw them.

My father was irritated. They just learned I couldn't do magic. "Ceil, calm down. She is just a late bloomer." My mother said, worried for what my father might do to me. "She is five Lizzy! And there should be at least some magic power coming from her." My father argued. I was listening through a crack in the door, my sister came behind me and whispered in my ear, "They are going to give you away Levy." She was grinning like a mad man. "No they would never do that!" I said, tears in my eyes. "Yeah they are! You can't even do the simplest spells. You are worthless." I wiped my eyes and ran away, up towards my room.

I grabbed the Princess Bride and lost myself in the story. It was one of my favorite books, "I hope I get a man like him." I smiled, thinking of my future. I always hoped I would meet a man who did anything for me. I giggled to myself. When I was reading, I had forgotten about my parents and sister. That was until my father stormed into the room and yelled at me to pack my things. I did what he said, scared out of my mind. I grabbed a few clothes and the Princess Bride and he lead me out the door. He pushed me out of the door and into the snow, slamming the door behind me. I was all alone, with no where to go. I thought I would die.

Luckily when I calmed down I remembered the way to town and started heading that way. It was useless to try and go back into the house. None of them truly cared about me. It took ten minutes to get to town. I was freezing. There was an orphanage down the road and i ran to it. I knocked on the door and a man, looking about in his twenties, answered, "What do you need little one?" I shivered, "I need a place to stay for tonight. My parents kicked me out." The man picked me up and took me inside. "You can stay here!" He had a comforting smile, it made me feel safe. "Thank you." He chuckled, "You're welcome. My name is Ivan, what is yours?" I smiled, "I'm Levy." He gave me a blanket and sat down, "Why did your parents kick you out?" Ivan looked at me. Tears welled up in my eyes again, "It's because I can't do magic," I wiped my eyes. Ivan's smile faded. I was sure he would throw me out like my parents did, but he didn't. Instead his look turned to one of sympathy. "Don't worry Levy... I can't either." I was shocked, "What?" I hugged him, and even now I don't know why, but I did.
