Romeo and Wendy were hanging out in the lounge of the hotel. Charles had ran off, saying something about hanging out with an old friend. "Did you really?!" Wendy leaned closer to Romeo, questioning something in his story. Romeo nodded proudly, "Yep!" Wendy giggled and the sound was music to Romeo's ears. He couldn't help the blush on his cheeks.
Laxus was standing near the two. He filled in the role of Wendy's uncle in the weird family they had going. Laxus took a minute and thought to himself 'they need a little push'. which he meant literally. Laxus gently pushed Romeo into Wendy, causing the two to fall back into the chair. Romeo was pinning Wendy down accidentally, a huge blush on his face. He got up quickly, apologizing a lot and holding his hand out to help her back up. Wendy giggled, although still in a bit of a daze and told him it was okay.
To end their own embarrassment, they decided to go to the water park and go down a slide. Romeo was blushing an impossible amount. Wendy found it adorable and held his hand gently, "You know, your face puts Erza's hair to shame." Romeo gasped in a fake offended tone, "you hush your mouth." They both laughed.

"I dare you to..." Lucy looked around, thinking for a moment, "go down the waterslide with Gray." Natsu and Gray's eyes both shot open wide as they yelled "no way!" in unison. "Triple dog dare," Lucy added smugly. Natsu sighed, but agreed to the dare while Mira giggled, Gray still very against the idea. Natsu and Gray found a suitable slide and walked over to it together, making sure not to stay too close to each other. That was until about 1/5 of the way up, when Gray grabbed Natsu's hand and laced their fingers together. Natsu jumped slightly, but Gray reassured him that "they won't see us, we're too far away." Natsu blushed faintly and nodded. The two had a random conversation which lead to them debating on whether or not a hotdog was a sandwich before they heard a young girl from behind them ask "Mommy, why are those boys holding hands?" Natsu tensed up and pretended not to hear. Gray held Natsu's hand tighter. The mom looked at her daughter and simply said "It's because they're sick honey." The girl gasped, "Will they be okay? Is there a cure?" The mom sighed, clearly annoyed, "No. And I never want you to be around people like that, you might end up just like them. They're freaks. I never want you to be like that."
Natsu's core temperature raised with every word, Gray took noticed and cooled his body to combat that. "Natsu, it's okay. Just calm down." Natsu looked at Gray genuinely confused, "Gray. She called us sick!" He made sure to keep his voice down so the family didn't hear, well at least the mom. Gray sighed and rolled his eyes slightly, "What does it matter what they think about us? Let them have their opinions. That doesn't change the fact that I love you, and other people's opinions will never change that. Hell, if I cared what other people thought, I'd have never started dating you." Gray took the chance to kiss Natsu on the cheek.
To the boy's surprise, they heard a quiet awe from behind them, coupled with a horrified gasp. Both young men laughed as Natsu said "I love you too, Icy."

Closer to the end of the day, all the groups had come together and formed new groups. The "adults" went to party while Romeo and Wendy were sent off to bed (not without complaining. Laxus took the time to pull Levy aside, wanting to talk to her about earlier. "It was nothing, I just got emotional Laxus, don't worry." Laxus didn't buy that for a second, looking down at her arm, "you're all bandaged up, so something happened." Levy tried to ignore that as she out her hand behind her back. Laxus put his hand on the wall beside Levy for some support, and also so she couldn't escape the conversation, "I know how she treated you Levy, and what she said about Gajeel crossed the line." Levy simply nodded I'm agreement, she couldn't find the words anymore. After a beat of silence, Laxus sighed and pulled Levy into a hug. Levy broke and hugged him back, hiding her face in his chest because of how short she was.

"Thank you Laxus."

"For what Lev?"

"Worrying about me.."

Laxus smiled, "You don't gotta thank me."
