I'm sorry

I won't spend a bunch of time talking about my life unless you want me to. I couldn't get into this account, I got defeated and stopped trying. I got curious and checked if people still liked this series (on a separate account, you might've gotten messaged by me) but they did. So here I am. I wrote out a chunk of the book years ago, and I still remember how I wanted the story to go. I'm sorry if my tone changes too much! Here we go.

     Laxus and Levy finished their talk and walked off to find their respective partners. Freed had decided that salsa dancing with Rose was the best idea. Laxus decided to take a seat and watch the two of them closely, he put too much faith in his mate. Levy had a different reaction to seeing Gajeel laughing with another girl. She felt a rage she didn't understand well up in her chest. Levy marched up to Gajeel and Rose. "What are you doing?" Levy crossed her arms, she could smell the alcohol coming from both of them. Rose giggled and stood up, "I'm entertaining the boyfriend you were cheating on!" Levy's eyes narrowed, "What are you talking about?!" She looked between Rose and Gajeel, frantically searching for something to tell her this was a joke. There was nothing from either. Levy's anger started to grow, and Rose speaking broke her control. "Listen, if you aren't gonna treat him right, give him to me and i will." Rose took another drink. Levy uncrossed her arms and took a breath, "Get away from him. And stay away."

     Freed and B had started dancing slowly. Slowly, she started to lean into him, wanting a kiss. Freed instantly backed away, "I'm sorry, i didn't mean to give you the wrong impression but, I'm already interested in someone else." B pouted, but understood and nodded, "You're a cute guy, if things go south give me a call." She waved and walked away. Freed caught Laxus's eyes and ran over, "I cannot believe she tried to kiss me." Laxsus chucked "She also called you cute." Freed rolled his eyes, a small blush playing on his cheeks. Laxus leaned a little closer to Freed as he sat down, "So, who were you talking about?" Freed tilted his head to the side, "What do you mean?" Freed knew what his blonde friend meant, but he wasn't going to admit that. Laxus leaned back in his chair, "Who do you have a crush on?" Freed's face went red and he looked away, "One could say they have the heart of a dragon." Laxus knew what this meant, but before he could comment, a yell from Levy caught his attention.

     Levy's argument with Rose had gotten worse. Rose yelled at her, "Well if you're gonna go making out with random guys then just give me Gajeel!" Levy couldn't control her anger, and there was some sadness nagging at the back of head that she couldn't explain, "LEAVE US ALONE!". Gajeel got up, "I'm sick of this. I'm leaving." He started to walk away. Rose started crying, she was far too drunk, B came by and took her away.. Levy followed after Gajeel, sadness washing over her that was almost crippling.  "Gajeel?" He turned to look at her, and she could swear there were tears in his eyes. He sighed, "Yeah shrimp?" She walked up to him and hugged him. He hugged back. Levy sighed, "You know I didn't kiss Laxus, right? He was just giving me a hug." Gajeel held her tighter, Levy felt like crying. Gajeel nodded. Levy smiled, "Plus, Laxus is gayer than Natsu." Gajeel chuckled and pulled back, "I love you." Levy blushed hard, "I love you too." He smiled at her, "You said it." She nodded. He grabbed his head, "My head is killing me." She giggled, "Yeah that happens when you drink too much."
