~Chapter Twenty-Eight~
~Halley’s POV~
“Halley’s home!” Liv calls excitedly, into the other room, “ooh, and she brought some friends!” She adds, when she notices the boys getting out of the limo. Yeah, limo. When Uncle Simon said he had arranged for a car, I thought it was going to be just that. A car. Clearly, he does not understand what exactly a car is.
“Hey Liv!” I say, embracing my baby sister, “Jack, hi!” I grin, hugging my brother as well.
“Hey Halley!” Jack says, smiling.
“Hey, kids!” Liam grins, giving each of them hugs, and the other boys follow behind him.
“Mom! Dad! Come on, Halley and One Direction are here!” Liv calls into the other room again.
“ONE DIRECTION ARE HERE????” My 12-year-old cousin, Samie-who is the daughter of my mom’s sister-comes running into the room. Samie may or may not be obsessed with the boys.
“Hi, Halley!” My mom’s voice says, and a minute later, she appears in the room.
“Is my princess home?” My dad says from the hall, walking into the room behind her.
“Hi Mom! Hi Daddy!” I say, hugging each of them, “I missed you!”
“We missed you too, honey,” My mom smiles.
“So, I take it that no one told Samie what my job is?” I ask, raising my eyebrows at my parents.
“Well…we were going to, but then...yeah, no one told her.” Dad admits.
“No one told me what?” Samie demands.
We explain to her my job as One Direction’s stylist (Samie already knows who my uncle is).
Louis coughs from somewhere behind me, “Ehem, Halley, I believe that you have some introductions to make.”
“Oh! Guys, this is my dad, his name is George, and this is my mom, her name is Katherine. And this is my cousin, Samie.” I introduce, then turn to my family, “these are my best friends, Zayn, Liam, Louis, and Niall, and Harry, my friend who happens to be a boy.”
"It's so nice to finally meet you!" Mom smiles warmly at the boys.
